Der hopfige Beginn wir schnell durch säuerlich bittere Noten unterbrochen. Trocken, steigende Herbe, der Hopfen ist nur noch Nebensache. Trocken adstringenter Nachgeschmack. 7/8/8/7/8/8

On tap at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Body is hazy peach orange, head is medium tan creamy, average lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is tropical fruits, flavor is orange, light lemon peel. Medium sweet medium bitter. Finish is quite happy heavy bitter. Easy, refreshing, great taste.

Bottle. Herbal-floral, subtle honeyish aroma. Medium body, strong bitterness and an unexpected (herbal?) tartness in the flavour. Tasty.

@ Havregatan 150331. Bottle (330 ml) from Backe Vin, Helsingör. Fruity and citric with spicy and citrusy notes, sweet, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry and fruity with citrusy notes

peponi (2103) - Strzelce Wielkie, POLAND - MAR 27, 2015
Aroma: juniper, citrus notes, malty, something strange like wet socks. Appearance: hazy golden color, white head. Taste: low bitterness, herbal, juniper, accidness from fruits (refreshing), quite dry. Palate: low body and medium carbonation, sour finish. Overall: Interesting combination, this fruit sourness blow up your mind.

very foamy for an IPA, minerals, seaweed, seabuckthorn, a tiny hint of juniper berries in the nose. Very mineral/seaweedy nose in fact, rather disgustingly so. But, as murky as this beaten puppy is, there lies some hidden beauty in that massive overload of unsweetened seabuckthorn juice out-of-the-reformhaus flavour that mingles so gracefully with those well-chosen hops, with that grapefruit-peel bitter finish that could be mistaken for just due to the juice but in fact must come from the hops. And without having had another bottle I can surely say I’d eventually come to love that strange brew.

bottle shared with colleagues, poured a deep golden colour with a white head, very fruity aroma, (buckthorn?) red fruit, grapefruit, peach, pines, a bit sour, pine, resin, refreshing beer

RichTheVillan (8443) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2015
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; murky dark amber pour with a big fluffy off white head, aroma has minerals and underlying hops, taste has lime, salt, caramel, never had sea buckthorn, but had a few beers with it and it’s an interesting taste. I enjoyed this.
