Bottled. 33cl sample. The aroma has strong roast, coffee beans, chocolate notes. Black coloured beer with a medium sized, brown head. The taste is moderate bitter with very low sweetness. Roasty bitterness lingers on. Coffee beans, hints of pine, with some caramel in the background. Very nice. Smooth, dry and full. Good combination.

33 cl bottle. Black with a lasting good one-finger head. Aroma of soy sauce, licorice, coffee, pretty good. Flavor is huge on licorice, totally overpowering. Oh well. Still, some more complexity in flavors would be nice. Bitterness is quite strong, quite a long finish in that regard. Carbonation is pretty low, which works well with the hoppiness. But yeah, I still don’t like licorice in beer, and this one has it in volumes.

A black beer, a head is brown and big. Aroma has coffee, liquirice and some chocolate, also pine and some citrus. Taste has black coffee, salt liquirice, quite strong bitterness. Medium+ bodied. Rich and powerful.

Pours black. Aroma is smoke n chocolate. Taste starts off with espresso, caramel, and some tropical fruit, Here is smoke n chocolate as well. Hoppy and bitter and sweet with full body. Good porter. And I’m not the biggest porter-fan.
