ASPETTO: nero impenetrabile, schiuma beige e perfetta. AROMA: floreale, liquirizia, tostato, leggero biscotto. Aroma al contempo delicato, complesso ed elegante. GUSTO: tripudio di caffè, liquirizia e cacao amaro. Leggerò biscottato. Sempre molto delicata, scivola benissimo. Molto, ma molto buona! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pitch black pour with minimal, quickly vanishing tan head. Roasted malts and coffee hit the nose intensely. Alcohol is also discretely detectable in the aromas. The taste is of moderately bitterness which turns more sharp in the lingering aftertaste. Flavors of roasted malts, dark roasted moka coffee, hops, peanuts and licorice blend together in harmony. Thick texture, low carbonation. Great.

Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours black with a brownish medium-sized head. The aroma features The aroma features strong roasty maltiness with roasty coffee, dark chocolate, licorice. Very rich and powerful. Taste is dry, displaying abundantly rich dark malty flavours; coffee and rye bread seem strongest but also chocolate and licorice appear. The palate is medium to full bodied, smooth and low in carbonation. Warming but not boozy. Great take on this great style.

330ml bottle. This effort of brewing in it’s style reminds me of saying: “Don’t join an easy crowd. You won’t grow. Go where the expectations and the demands to perform and achieve are high.” Jim Rohn Excellent brew.

Bottled. 33cl sample. The aroma has strong roast, coffee beans, chocolate notes. Black coloured beer with a medium sized, brown head. The taste is moderate bitter with very low sweetness. Roasty bitterness lingers on. Coffee beans, hints of pine, with some caramel in the background. Very nice. Smooth, dry and full. Good combination.
