(Bottle). Sweet but also crisp taste of figs, alcohol, roasted malt, granulated sugar, tropical fruits and hops. Large and strong taste of coffee with smooth but prominent element of roasted malt and hops. The flavor ends with a nice hoppy bitterness, taste of chocolate and warming alcohol. Well balanced flavors and a very nice beer.
bottle 0,33. dark brown/black colour, thight brown head, stays. aroma of coffee, roast. taste - coffee. good hided abv. roast and bitter aftertaste. Cimbasso (978) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2017
Sampled on draught at Bootleggers Craft Beer bar in Copenhagen. A near black colour with a light brown head. Roasted malts in the aroma and a taste of espresso coffee and chocolate, with some hints off smokiness and a distinct hint of grapefruit in the aftertaste. Some acidity in the taste, making this beer a little lighter and easier to drink than one would expect from the ABV. aleanguz91 (97) - Grignasco (NO), ITALY - SEP 19, 2017

Colore nero impenetrabile.
90 (732) - BELGIUM - SEP 8, 2017

Slighly toasted nose. Taste is full, coffee, toasted, a tad salty. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Aftertaste has some bitters. Fujimo2000 (194) - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 1, 2017
Pours black with a dark brown lasting lacing. This iaa very aggressive beer! Can smell the salt and coffee. This leads to a smooth coffee mouthfeel with the dry finish. Fantastic beer!

Dobre Black IPA, ale cholernie przehajpowane. W dodatku po ogrzaniu w posmaku wychodzi lekki bimberek. JDBaker11058 (2336) - Maryland, USA - AUG 12, 2017
appearance: stout-like, near black, creamy/frothy medium tan head, good lacing. aroma: molasses, dark chocolate, espresso, pine, citrus, hint of bubblegum and smoke. taste: chewy, thick malts (chocolate, molasses) with notes of espresso, smoke, and soy sauce; wave of piney and citrus hops feel very juicy. finish: hint of dry char and cocoa, with lingering fruity hop bitterness; alcohol well hidden; full palate. notes: I have a hard time with the black IPA style. Feels more like an export stout with tons of tropical hops. This one’s very nice. Good base palate, juicy hops. Weird combo, but it works well. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.
