COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Hazy golden with a white head - Very good hop aroma with tropical fruits and citrus - Good malt body to support a good hop profile that has fruity flavour with some hints of citrus and pine - The hops goes into a fruity long finish that ends dry - This was very good

Very drinkable. Scent of flower, grass, and cheese. Subtle harmony of sweetness and bitterness.

Intense citrus and pine aroma. Taste is like aroma. Weil balanced, good hidden alcohol. Tasty.

a close to stupid amount of citra and centennial hops turns out not stupid at all. crispy and super dry-hopped. Well balanced IIPA with a smooth mouthfeel. If you’re looking for something to make you bright and cheerful, definitely worth trying for

Liked it very much. Well-balanced hoppy aroma. Enjoyed bitter taste and feel.

It has a hazy, bright grapefruity colored body with tight white lacing. The smell is dominantly piny, resiny and sweet with herbaceous and toffee-like notes in the back. The taste is sweet and malty. A little bit of toffee, sweet and layered. There are earthy hops there as well. With regards to mouthfeel, it is fairly light considering its medium-body. Low to mid carbonation.

Poured bottle into Teku. Surprisingly clean for the ABV. Clean, crisp. Color also fakes the heavy malt profile. A respectable IIPA.

Turtles (2653) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 8, 2016
Keg @ BrewDog Södermalm. Murky Amber, thick rich lacing white head. Very hoppy nose with a sweet malt profile, citrus zest, grapefruit, passion fruit, tropical juice, pine and resin. Full-bodied for sure! Rich, creamy taste sweet tropical juicy, pineapple, passion fruit, orange zest and pleasant heavy pine bitterness, grapefruit and resin. Long bitter finish.

fredfa (234) - belo horizonte, BRAZIL - MAR 6, 2016
