COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Very clean hoppy aroma with a touch of sweetness. Beautiful dark orange color with sediment and an ivory tuft of foam. Tastes hoppy and fresh with a bit of an earthy/grassy quality. Many DIPAs go overboard on the malt, this one lets the hops be the star but without being bitter. The palate is a bit thin but overall this was very good. Extremely drinkable for such a big beer.

Flaske 330ml delt med Torgeir på Cafe Sånn. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Veldig høyt tett skum som daler veldig sakte. Tynn lacing. God aprikosaroma. Smaken veldig balansert. Forbausende "lett" fruktsmak med alkoholen godt kamuflert. Tørr avslutning.

Draught @ Dansken. Pours hazy burnt orange with a creamy offwhite head that leaves lots of thick sticky lacing and trace in the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, pineapple, papaya, moist grass, pine needles, resin, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and fruity. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, slightly boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with bread, caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, papaya, moist grass, pine needles, resin, cardboard, alcohol and lemon zest. Very tired and heavy on the caramel, bread, toffee and cardboard.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines. Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Thursday 7th December 2015 Pours orangey gold with a thick white creamy textured head atop. Soft in the mouth, feels thick, sweet, bitterness doesn’t present itself immediately. This is a big IPA but the maltiness is very much in the US style. Sweet citrus, dry at the finish, it’s a grower though Loz has left hers to me and cracked open an Axe Edge. After a while there is slight hoppy burn, warmth from alcohol also. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle. lasting white frothy head atop a cloudy orange peach body. Nose of pine sol and soap. Very deep in citrus flavours: Seville Orange, Mandarin and passion fruit tossed in.

Hazy orange, white froth. Pine and grapefruit aroma. Flavour has juicy, fruity hops, pine and citrus. Refreshing bitterness. Caramely malt and alcohol appear in the finish. Elegant with high drinkability.

Hazy gold body with a thick fluffy white head. Nose has fruity and tropical elements with bready malt. A very refreshing and drinkable DIPA. A variety of fruity hop tastes (Citra and Centennial, after all) lead off the taste profile. Sweet grapefruit, juicy tropical fruit, and a spritz of lemon create an easy drinking taste. Touches of peach and orange with very light bready malt keep this a very clean and understated double at 9.3%. It’s a lovely beer, but I can’t rate such a big beer any higher unless it delivers something more spectacular.

11.2 oz single bottle into a pint glass, purchased at Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Murky, cloudy orange appearance with a fluffy white head and light lacing. Aroma of citrus, light tropical fruits, zesty hops, pine, spruce, light grass and hop resin. Similar flavor, juicy, fruity, alpha hops with medium bitterness and a moderate malt sweetness. Nicely balanced and easy to drink for an IIPA. Medium to full body with soft carbonation and a dry, bitter hop finish. Nicely done, To Øl is 5 out of 5 for me so far.

Excellent iipa super easy drinking, not too bitter. Palate is perfect. The head on the beer lasted after the glass was empty.
