COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

330 ml bottle. At the Pudel Baar, Tallinn, Estonia.
Hazy orange color with a small white head. Extremely unfresh hops and bitterness... unfortunately no idea of the bottling or BB date. The flavor is as unfresh as the aroma. Moderate bitterness and dry maltiness. A big disappointment.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Vantaa. Thanks to FatPhil! Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, grape, hops, caramel and malts. OK, this is hoppy but not very enjoeyable.

Orange color with lots of hophaze and medium white head. Aroma has passion fruit, papaya, grapefruit, pine, citrus fruits and some resin. Medium body. Taste follows the aroma, really Centennial forward, lots of citrus fruits, with a good kick of tropical fruits and pine. Aftertaste is lsightly bitter, but I expected much more from "Dangerously Close To Stupid amount of hops beer". Really easy drinking, alcohol is not present whatsoever despite de 9.3% ABV. Really nice and "sessionable" dIPA.

A big big beer. Feeling all of its almost 10% alcohol after a few sips. Aromas are mostly citrus hops. Big citrus bitterness and maybe some booze coming through. Sweet maltiness too. Really good.

Bottle. Hazy yellow/orange with a large frothy off white head. Fruity nose; mango, apricot, citrus, passion fruit. The flavour has all the fruityness of the nose and some sugary sweetness and alcohol warmth. Light hay and dust too. Drinks ok for the abv.

courtesy of fiulijn - cloudy amber-orange beer with a long lasting white foam; nice lace; strong piney and resiney hoppiness; fair notes of peach too; full-bodied, a fair malt sweetness, velvety palate and a huge bitterness; very long resiney, peachy and apricot-ish hoppy finish

Bottle. Amber in colour, white solid head. Great aroma of flowers, citrus fruits, mango. In taste medium sweet from malts, very hoppy with big bitterness to balance it all. Great DIPA from To Ol.

Bottle at April Tasting in Belgrade. Very pretty, soft haze, grapefruit. Small thick foam. Yeasty grapefruit. Soft citrus, fresh squeezed. Great body, only a touch sweet, lovely deep tart citrus. Tasty.
