COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Draft at LCBF 2013 - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a light, white foam head. Moderate dried citrus, some bready pale malts, orange, tangerine, some hay. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, pretty sweet. Lingering ripe tangerine. Full on but pretty well balanced.

Bottle from Salling, Aarhus. Hazy light orange with a big orange head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - peach. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish. 060713

Koelschtrinker (21318) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - OCT 16, 2013
Süßer grasiger Antrunk, leicht alkoholisch. Die Hopfigkeit bleibt konstant, würziger werdend, etwas getreidig. Nass grasig, minimal herb. Zum Ende wenig bitter, süffig bleibend, fruchtige Noten sind die Ganze Zeit hintergründig vorhanden. 13/12/11/11/9/11

Draught at Söder om Småland, Malmö
Hazy light amber color with small creamy head. The aroma is creamy and resiny, some manure. Strong mouthfeel, round, with sweet and fruity malt flavor, strong bitterness, orange oils. Hard feeling.
Powerful. I find it rather cloying.

Bottle at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Hazy gold lasting white head. Lovely big grapefruit hop aroma. A touch of puke somewhere in the mouth. Aroma is great but the rest is less than good

Bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Slightly hazy pale golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Fruity hop aroma, caramel, herbal, citrus, pine needles, hay notes, floral notes. Hoppy floral flavor, grassy, caramel, citrus, pine notes, alcohol is well hidden. Well balanced but not outstanding.

mcberko (18583) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 8, 2013
On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma of resinous hops, dry caramel malts, and tropical fruits. Flavour of dry resinous hops, dry caramel malts, and some dry tropical fruity notes. Very rich and full-bodied, with dry fruity and resinous hop notes dominating. Excellent stuff.
