COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The next beer in the To Øl hop adventure is now a reality – we present to you Dangerously Close To Stupid. An Imperial IPA at 9,3 % ABV with a close to stupid amount of Citra and Centennial Hops in it. It is a bright crisp and super dry-hopped IIPA with a smooth and balanced body. To make a tight transition between the hop profile and the body we have removed all caramel malts and focused only on basis malts. This is resulting in a nice fresh Spring/Summer IIPA that has a Dangerously Close To Stupid drinkability. We have for a long time been wanting to do a pendant to the Final Frontier Double IPA, that has this rich caramel body and we think we nailed it Dangerously Close to Perfect with this one

Bottle at Mikkeller & Friends, April 2013. Hazy orange/yellow with a medium fluffy white head. Aroma and taste of hops, fruit and some malt. Also some light notes of "earth" and "tutti-frutti". Fresh, bitter and easy to drink. I liked this one.

Humle och tydliga inslag av tropiska frukter. Tyvärr försvinner fruktigheten i smaken men istället träder en fin beska fram. Välbalanserad IPA.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with a long lasting and glass coating lacework with a frothy off-white big head. Aroma is fresh with spruce, pineapple, grapefruit, caramel, floral notes, light hop cheesyness, citrus and pine. Taste is medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily/creamy, carbonation is moderate. Finishes a little dry and bitter with a lingering resinous woody flavor and some drying alcohol. Dangerously refreshing and drinkable, the 9% ABV is easily forgotten.

On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma of resinous hops, dry caramel malts, and tropical fruits. Flavour of dry resinous hops, dry caramel malts, and some dry tropical fruity notes. Very rich and full-bodied, with dry fruity and resinous hop notes dominating. Excellent stuff.

Botella. Hazy like golden orange colour, nice medium sized white ehad, creamish, leaving a good lacing. Aroma is dominated by fruity tropical hoppiness, sweet, citrus, very pleasant. Good filling mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour indeed of fruity tropical hops, pine and citrus, quite bitter and indeed dry too. Lovely!

The head is good, the body yellow and cloudy. It smells creamy, hoparomatic, pellet, orange, intensive, fruity. The taste is intensive, hoppy, a bit fruity in a combination with creamy, bitter, aromatic. Really Good. 12/13/13/12/13/13

330ml bottle, pours cloudy gold with a foamy white head. Big citrus hop notes, Seville orange, lemon, zesty tangy fruits over light biscuity and caramel malts. Light sweetness from the malts but this is balanced nicely with the hops to impart a dry bitter finish which hides the abv well. Body is medium, light oily texture with fine carbonation. There is a bit too much yeast in the bottom which makes it appear less refined than some beers but other than that this is a top notch dipa.

Bottle at the 7th Tasting in Belgrade-Serbia with Vlada, Matt, Marko (budalo). Pours deep yellow, cloudy with a white foam which leaves draft on the glass. Nose: orange juice, tropical, papaya. Mouth: lively carbonated, tick body, oily, fruity, just lovely execution of the style.
