COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: The thing about First Frontier is the hops. Easy… This is an IPA “the American way”, no sticky-sweet malt profile, just the real deal potent and aromatic hops. The result is a refreshingly dry, fresh and bitter IPA, heavily dryhopped with the three American hop varieties warrior, simcoe and centennial, dealing a punch of citrus, peach and grapefruit from the deepest of our hearts directly to ya face. Just added a bit of caramel malt; merely to harness and balance the alcohol. ”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”
Ingredienser: Vand, Malt, Havre, Humle (Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial), gær.

Fantastisk fruktig doft (en blandning av många frukter – ungefär som en förpackning tropical fruktjuice). Kanske lite obalanserad smak, men ändå en mycket god IPA.

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2011 (bottle) Pours dark golden to amber with an off-white head. The aroma is light to medium hoppy, medium malty and light to medium yeasty. Tones of glue, almonds, bread, dough, perfume, mild flowers and mild fruits. The flavor is light sweet , medium bitter and tiny acidic. Tones of fruits, citrus, almonds, dough and flowers. The mouthfeel is round and light creamy with medium carbonation. Resinus citrus on the finish. Bit unclean. Medium bodied. 5/3/7/4/12 Second try: (Bottle) Pours hazy orange amber with a creamy, off-white head. The aroma is quite fruity with notes of peach, mild pineapple, light mango, lychee and clear grapefruity citrus. Hints of herbs, sweaty socks, tea, cat piss, and grass. Bready, caramelly and nutty malt background. Nice, almost pefumy hops, but maybe a tiny bit too malty on the nose. The flavour is light sweet, more than medium bitter and light to medium acidic. Lots of citrus and hop resin alongside a robust but creamy malt backbone. The mouthfeel is soft and round almost silky at first with a medium astringent afterbitterness. Light carbonation. Lingering resiny finish. Medium bodied.
