COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: The thing about First Frontier is the hops. Easy… This is an IPA “the American way”, no sticky-sweet malt profile, just the real deal potent and aromatic hops. The result is a refreshingly dry, fresh and bitter IPA, heavily dryhopped with the three American hop varieties warrior, simcoe and centennial, dealing a punch of citrus, peach and grapefruit from the deepest of our hearts directly to ya face. Just added a bit of caramel malt; merely to harness and balance the alcohol. ”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”
Ingredienser: Vand, Malt, Havre, Humle (Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial), gær.

Pours hazy orange withe at nice creamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, peach and orangepeel. Flavour of red (sweet) grapefruit, peach, pine and again orangepeel - the grapefruit both starts and finishes the beer. Long aftertaste and nice creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle, bought @ Kihosk, Cph.
Murky orange with a medium, fairly firm, fothy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, plant sap, some oranges and quite a bit of overripe melon. Light doughy malts base. Medium carbonation, lightish and good dry mouthfeel. Flavour has nice hops, an okay malt base if a bit simple and doughy. Piney, dry, high bitterness, peach and light melon again. Perhaps a bit rough around the edges, but still instantly drinkable.

OK take on an all american IPA. Loads of hops, but a bit too simple on the aroma, with all the usual tones of pine and citrus. The same goes for palate, the malt-base is a bit one dimensionel. But a nice beer if u r a hophead just like me.

Bottle. The beer pours hazy deep golden with medium off white head. The aroma is very fruity with notes of peaches, grape fruit, citrus and pine. The flavour is spruce, citrus, passion fruit, grass and caramel. Some sweetness in the finish with a good fresh bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle. Medium high fluffy but lasting white head leaving nice long lacings. Slightly hazy amber body. Peach lemon aroma. Powerful relatively sharp hops bitterness on a solid malt caramel base with low carbonation and good long dry and bitter aftertaste.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, grass, and cats piss. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fresh hops lending it notes of grass, lime peal, and a touch of cats piss, leading to a bitter finish.

nose is acidic-fresh, bitter hops, mild lemon, feel is weak, but balanced, carb is mediumweak, taste follows nose with little acid and pine notes in the end.
