COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: The thing about First Frontier is the hops. Easy… This is an IPA “the American way”, no sticky-sweet malt profile, just the real deal potent and aromatic hops. The result is a refreshingly dry, fresh and bitter IPA, heavily dryhopped with the three American hop varieties warrior, simcoe and centennial, dealing a punch of citrus, peach and grapefruit from the deepest of our hearts directly to ya face. Just added a bit of caramel malt; merely to harness and balance the alcohol. ”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”

”We all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than other”
Ingredienser: Vand, Malt, Havre, Humle (Warrior, Simcoe, Centennial), gær.

Pours a mostly clear amber with an off-white head and some lacings. Smell of citric and slightly resiny hops. Bitter with lots of hops aromas. Aromas of grapefruits and hints of apples and berries. Ever-so-tiny bready hints towards the end. Medium to full bodied. Medium carbonation. bitter finish with more hops aromas.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2012 The aroma has some pineapple, lemon, grape - very very hoppy. The taste has lots of bittering hops, I can tell quite lemony and just very bitter for an IPA. Not malts malts evident, only a bit to create some balance. Classic IPA on the bitter side of the scale.

Pours hazy orange withe at nice creamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, peach and orangepeel. Flavour of red (sweet) grapefruit, peach, pine and again orangepeel - the grapefruit both starts and finishes the beer. Long aftertaste and nice creamy mouthfeel.

Bottle, bought @ Kihosk, Cph.
Murky orange with a medium, fairly firm, fothy, off-white head. Aroma has peach, plant sap, some oranges and quite a bit of overripe melon. Light doughy malts base. Medium carbonation, lightish and good dry mouthfeel. Flavour has nice hops, an okay malt base if a bit simple and doughy. Piney, dry, high bitterness, peach and light melon again. Perhaps a bit rough around the edges, but still instantly drinkable.
