Posmak likier chmielowy. Intensywny ziołowo-żywiczny. Jeśli owoce to podbijające treściwość - miąższowe

ogniskowicz (1006) - POLAND - FEB 21, 2017

Bottle. Amber to red color, thick beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, alcohol, dried fruits, raisins, light citeus hops. Taste is malty rich, caramely, strong of alcohol, full of dried fruits and solid hoppy.

Wysycenie niskie do średniego.

33cl bb03/2021, Fuck manual imports, merci idiosynkrasie! - Pours like Chinese plum wine. Aroma of o malt sugar studded Barley wine: suffused honey and maple syrup caramels oozing polished sweetness with a slight white grape tang. Quite oily and slick, again like said plum wine. Sippable, with a gentle alcohol bite and a linear pear syrup (sirop de Liège) malt juiciness, but little festivities in the way of yeast profile or subtleties, besides maybe a far off wild orchard fruitpeel character that keeps the condensed fruitsugars palatable. Heavy grape and date juice, dried figs, brown sugar, drying modern hops. Quality ingredients brewed down with an honest lutheran attitude that bespeaks advertising rather than art, yes. - - Besides the more militant late capitalist irony of the name this is labeled as a "Belgian Style Quadrubel": Danish phonemics taking off the sharp edge of even the last romance-latinate plosive sounds works well as a metaphor for what this dense US barley wine-inspired Proefbrew does to aery monks’ yeast: sand it down to be gulped down without putting up the lustful fight which in catholic cultures is mistaken for transcendence.

Average frothy offwhite head. Fair lacing. Mostly diminishing. Muddy small-particled thick dark amberish-brown body. Aroma: heavy malt, caramel, dark chocolate, raisin, red wine and alcohol. Initial flavor: moderate sweet light acidic moderate bitter; long duration. Palate: light medium body, watery/oily texture, light astringent heavy alcoholic finish. dulçor maltado lembra chocolate ao leite e frutas secas. 140 s

Cokemonkey11 (996) - - DEC 5, 2016
Bottle. Pours dark hazelnut brown, medium opaque, with a medium tan foam, syrup, and subsiding to a ring. Scent is medium caramel old ale, maybe Scotch ale. Brown sugar. Light cinnamon notes. Taste is dense Bourbon barrel scotch ale properties, some spiciness, and a lingering, slightly sticky, slightly ethanol body. Great.
