Oh boy. It’s one of the best farmhouse pale ale I’ve ever drunk. Great aroma of fruit and funky; awesome taste which brings total refreshness. Highly recommended one. Gehbe (451) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - SEP 9, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2016 Amazing nose of apple orchards and meadows and green green grass of the homegrown, also caramel and berries and deep forests of the nirth. Pours clear deep gold with a big frothy head and beautiful lacing. Taste is medium sweet-sour-bitter, perfectly balanced. Medium to high carbonation, medium to light body, some stickiness. Wonderful beer, pure gold. Just brilliant balance. 77ships (10770) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 18, 2013
33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Hopduvel. BBF 04/04/2018. Very slight gusher. Brilliant name & hilarious label. Bright orange with a big descending foamy white head. Incredible sweet flowers, big nectarine, tangerine and orange pulp, candy sugar and huge awesome brett profile in the nose. Taste is lemon zest, slight cheese & grapefruit hops taste and even bigger brett profile, huge, bitter floral & grass finish, flowers, very light candy sugar and tangerine underneath the huge brett profile. Very, very dry-out feel with huge dominating brett profile. I slightly confused by the naming of this a table beer and using table beer as a synonym for a Belgian Pale Ale from a historic point of view. I can only encourage people making more Orval-inspired beers like this. I need to start trying to buy more To Øl. They have really delivered the goods from the moment they first came to existence. rzymol (118) - - FEB 14, 2015
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2015 Bottle. Pours unclear honey-yellowish with a massive long-lasting stable white head built of large but homogenous bubbles. It gives nice lacing too. Overall, an impressive and very appealing appearance. Aroma is very intense, definately fresh floral hoppy scent with a lambic kind of fruitness (sweet candy), apple, orange pulp, some lemon and maybe a bit of cellar from yeasts. Very fresh and again, very appealing. The taste is, surprisingly, something different that aroma could suggest, and overall a very fine mixture of sweetness (right after tasting it) followed by bitterness that overtakes it and lasts also in the aftertaste. Interestingly, the bitterness is somehow rounded, likely by brettanomyces, giving the whole drink a funky kind of feel but not sourness. Full mouthfeel, velvet-like and a body that perfectly suits it. Extremely high drinkability. I would never say I could be so much satisfied with Belgian Ale which is not my fav style but this beer brings it into totally different level. cubs (10693) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2014
Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Slight gusher. Heavy carbonation. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange appearance with huge foamy off white head. Aroma is very floral with lots of tropical fruit / bretty notes. Potpourri, lemon, mango. Maybe a bit of bubblegum. Really delicious flavor. A bunch of pineapple, mango, and tropical fruits in the flavor. Moderately funky. Light to moderately bitter. Bone dry finish. Really fucking good. On par with Orval. Only complaint is that the carbonation is completely out of control. Too bad it’s way too goddamn expensive.

One of the best beers I’ve ever drinked. Appearance: hazy orange, with the best tall thick head I’ve ever seen. Aroma intense peaches. Taste, hoppy sweet-sour with characteristic belgian peaches. Very nice bitterness. It’s all so well ballanced. Extremally drinkable. Gandalf39 (153) - - FEB 2, 2015
Deliciosa cerveza. Sobresaliente elaboración!!
330ml bottle. Goblet glass. Brass color & foggy appearance. White foam forms a close crown that leaves a lasting layer on top while dissipates. Brett aroma, hints of smoke, sour on the back, green bay leaves & spices to the nose. Sweet malty upfront cut by sour touch. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Funny palate. Oily texture. Sour/sweet finish & acidic notes on the aftertaste. Delightful. Great job !! Jamedra (754) - Hostivice, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 3, 2014
Pípa, Beergeek, Praha. Aroma je opravdu výrazné exotické, připomíná směs ananasu, červeného pomeranče a grepu s lehkou dávkou koření. Pěna je bílá, jemná, středně vysoká a držící. Barva samotného piva je světle opálová a lehce kalná. Chuť má výrazný ovocný střed, připomíná sladký ovocný grep a červený pomeranč, celkově je chuť velmi šťavnatá a lahodná, finiš je středně hořký a držící. Celkové se jedná o velmi příjemné pivo, lahodné, jemné a svěží chuti s chutným aroma. _angst_ (4810) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - FEB 3, 2015
Draught @ BBB. Pours hazy deep golden with a rather big frothy and fluffy offwhite head that slowly dissipates while sticking to the glass leaving some thick lacing and trace. Smell is fruity and slightly funky with crackers, pink grapefruit juice, pineapple, star fruit, lemon grass, hay, pine needles, dry soil, barnyard, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, fruity and tiny funky with crackers, grapefruit juice, pineapple, papaya, star fruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, dry soil, minerals, barnyard, pepper corns, kumquats and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tiny astringent and light bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit, pineapple, grass, pine needles, dry soil, minerals, barnyard, kumquats and lemon zest. Refreshingly dry, fruity and slightly funky offering. Nice!
Re-rate! Second glass! Yum-a-dum!
