The great warrior of Gath. The mighty champion of the Philistines. Embedded in ancient folklore and religion. Coming from the World of Old. His size and stature is not human. He is bigger. The armor of Goliat is black. Creamy black lacings. Stands with a towering height. He can grab elements from both earth and heaven. Earthy, roasted, notes from the earth. Warming, pungent, sweet notes from the skies. His heart is beating slowly, almost endlessly slow. This man is thought to be invincible!

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, roasted barley, dark cassonade sugar, flaked oats, hops, gourmet coffee and yeast.

375ml bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, hints of smokiness and dark chocolate, some dough, and floral hops. Flavor the same, with a weird coffee note at the end. Thicker texture. A good beer, but I am not sure the coffee really adds to this beer.

Rewelacja. Bardzo słodki, jednocześnie gorzki. Kawowy, delikatny piernik. Pite w temperaturze pokojowej, znacznie lepsze niż ta sama warka pita pół roku temu schłodzona (było znacznie słodsze). Świetne doznania płynące z tego piwa. Czuć że ma się do czynienia z piwem klasy światowej

Almost undrinkably sweet, with a massive dose of sugary dark chocolate mixed with maraschino cherry and raisins, backed up by an assertive, acidic coffee backbone and a long bitter finish. Great nose, loads of mocha and roast, and the pour is lovely, a deep dark brown with a moderate beige head and ample lacing. Texture is thin and watery, but the alcohol is well-hidden, at least. But the sweetness is overbearing; the cola-like middle leads to a cloy back end, only escalating as it warms. Not for me.

Pite z kija w Krakowskim Multi Kulti, odczekane do temperatury pokojowej. Barwa smoliście czarna, w aromacie KAWA, KAWA i jeszcze raz KAWA. Piana niska, szybko opadająca, W smaku poezja, dominuje, a jakże, kawa, można wyczuć nuty piernika i pumpernikla, alkohol kompletnie niewyczuwalny. Jedno z najlepszych piw jakie miałem przyjemność degustować w życiu. .

Keg @The Bat, Edinburgh. Pours black, opaque, thick solid tan head. Nose is coffee and some more coffee and when bored of coffee it gives you more, very one dimensional nose. Taste is simply great, some dark chocolate, slight coffee, warming booze, lovely.

Tasted this in the Doghouse, Glasgow on the 30th June 2017. Keg, 1/3 pint. Dull black in colour with a tan head. Strong malty aroma with strong coffee and blackcurrant fruit evident on the long nose. Fantastic creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Dark malt complex gives an immense depth of flavour with rich notes of treacle fudge, molasses, Colombian chocolate, mocha coffee and blackcurrant fruit are all in there. No hops detected in the aftertaste, so runs straight through into the malt. Sweet flavours of chocolate liqueur, mocha coffee, expensive high cocoa content dark chocolate, intense vanilla pods, dry blackcurrant fruit all in the mouth. This is a sipping Imperial Stout and it really is powerful stuff but it might be too sweet for some!

Look: pitch black, thin beige head. Aroma: wet stale ground coffee. Taste: sweet with light acidity and light bitterness. Flavour: coffee, rum, some earthy notes. Good. Too coffee.
