In Denmark we are very fond of Christmas beers. In fact, most of December goes with drinking Christmas beers while chewing on fat duck, pork roast, red cabbage and herrings left in vinegar for months. Jule M?lk. Our so far strongest beer, bumped up to 15% ABV and loaded and loaded and loaded with lactose, just until it couldn?t get any more heavy. You could say this is the Foie Gras force-feeding edition of a beer. But then again, it is Christmas after all? butelka/tap house. spoko, tego się spodziewałem i się nie zawiodłem. wyklejająca słodycz, nuty palone, czekoladowe, słodkie jak cukier. alkohol przyjemnie grzeje. bardzo ok

Tap at Titans 1st Anniversary, September 9th, 2017. Pours dark, almost black with lots of beige or light brown foam for a head. Aroma is sweetish, some herbal thing going on, mountains of cocoa, some roast and bitter chocolate. Taste reveals that hops have been quite generously used, so luscious sturdy cocoa and milk chocolate body has been balanced with hop bitterness. So it drinks as imperial stout - but definitely to as 15% abv one, kind of dangerous. More of that herbal hop bitterness wrapping up the sweet chocolate body, nice one to sip.

Genieten!

Tap. Black with small beige head. Aroma of coffee, sherry, milk chocolate, macerated cherries, raisins. Taste is wonderfully rich - moderate sweetness followed by heavy bitter finish. Dark honey, nuts, raisins, cognac and sherry - noble alcohol tones, coffee, Turkish delight. Full body, soft carbonation.

Dark brown, with a thin head. Intense aroma. Rich roast, light alcohol, light smoke...on the palate the smoke shows well, and so does the rich molassesy note from the dark sugar. Thinner than its alcohol would indicate. The dark sugars slide down the throat. Nice. This tastes pretty good - not as complex as might be ideal but that’s ok, it’s still a nice beer.

What a bomber! Aroma is chocolate, burnt wood, lactose infused port. Taste is sweet dark chocolate, smoke, booze, coffee, plums, licorice, pepper, ginger, faint vanilla. The bitterness in the end balance almost out the heavy sweetness. Almost feel barrel aged even in its pure version.

Cocoa, roasted notes, some spices, practically black with a good brown head, full body, not too carbonated, strong notes of cocoa, obvioulsy is quite sweet but balanced, a bit of ash but then a pleasant warming final...not my favorite but quite good afterall.

Barwa czarna, piana intensywna, brązowa zdobiąca szkło. Aromat średnio intensywny, nuty słodkiej czekolady, porto, kawy i popielniczki. W smaku bardzo pełne i wyraźnie słodkie, niemal zaklejające. Czekolada, kawa espresso i wyraźna palonośc dominują.
