RexTalionis (3763) - FINLAND - NOV 25, 2014
From bottle into a snifter it pours near black in color with a tan head. Dark bitter chocolate, roasted malts, bit of ashes and hints of herbal notes in aroma. Notes of salty licorice, ripe dark fruits, old leather and coffee liqour in taste. There’s some warming notes from both the alcohol and chili towards the finish. Sweet chocolatecake and some heat is evident later on as well together with some lingering smokyness in the end. Good sipper though.

cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Poured from bottle, pours black with a thick brown head and lacing through the entire glass, aroma has a nice amount of peppers and spice on the nose with some chocolate and roast coming through too, the flavor has a heavy amount of chocolate at first with a good amount of pepper and sweetness in the finish, abv is pretty well hidden, mouthfeel was a little lighter and heavy on the carbonation, but still solid, heat builds in the finish, interesting stuff.

Tsekouratos (603) - Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, GREECE - NOV 11, 2014
375 ml bottle from Beer-shop.gr, Athens Greece. Black as night color, with a dark brown head. Aromas of pepper, chocolate, coffee and some wood. Taste is phenomenal, chocolate, pepper, some coffee, some some smoke, dark fruits. Long aftertaste, medium sweet. Full body with low to medium carbonation.

McWorta (1627) - LUXEMBOURG - NOV 2, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 28, 2015 Black (>80EBC) with a brown light creamy head. Some oily viscosity and good lacing. Aromas of vanilla, raisins, earthy-wood notes, sweet prunes aromas develop on the nose. The texture offers a very brief carbonation fading quickly into a heavy slickness with a full body. Earthy sweet juicy centre with influences of wood, raisin, liquorice and some spice flavours develop. Rather complex beer with a somewhat spiced up long lasting bit roast finish. Harmonic and excellently balanced.

JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Pour from bottle. Dense black pour, with a brown head. Sweet chocolate, rich dark malt, licorice, vanilla, sweet molases, heavy roast, milk chocolate, and mild chili. Rich, heavy, and smooth.

Kran 0.1L.
Wygląd: Czarne, brunatna, średnioobfita, zbita, trwała piana.
Aromat: Intensywny, słodki, figi, daktyle, lekko wędzone, czekolada, porto, michałki, nugat.
Smak: Bardzo słodkie, czekolada, likier czekoladowy, kawa rozpuszczalna.
3 razy mniej słodkie a byłoby genialne.

popery (2170) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 29, 2014
Pours black with just a thin band of dark brown around the edges of the glass. Smallish light brown head. The aroma is cocoa powder, brownies, light chili, caramel and a little dark fruitiness. Mild booze. Nice, big chocolate flavor. The taste is sweet but dries out well in the finish for the strength of the beer. Lots of chocolate. Dark chocolate and cocoa abound. Chili is mild again but may have been more present when fresh. Big roast note persists in the aftertaste. Full, smooth feel. Creamy and round. Very well made and tasty chili imperial stout.

adasko (2233) - Poznan, POLAND - OCT 26, 2014
Świetne piwo, bliskie ideału. Brakuje mu jedynie tego ostatniego uderzenia w aromacie i smaku. Poza tym ma wszystko. Wygląd, odczucie w ustach, gładkość. Wspaniałe piwo.

Theydon_Bois (19510) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 26, 2014
Bottle at the Room 118 tasting, Tulip Hotel Bodegraven, post BBF 6 day 1 26/09/14 from an IP trade with Rasmus Ott. Light black with moderate tan spotting and edgework. Nose is big roast, liqourice, spice, molasses, dark maltings, cocoa, treacle toffee. Taste comprises bitter roast, liqourice, herbal elements, spice, dark toffee, root liqourice, bitter chocoalte, hints of Unicum! Full bodied, fine carbonation, warming alcohol in the close. Decent impy.

Egy jó kényelmes fotel, esti félhomály és némi muzsika. Ez kell emellé a beszédes sör mellé. De honnan a Chili íz?
