375 ml bottle, labeled as Liquid Confidential. Served in a Great Lakes Brewing chalice, the beer pours dark brown black with a couple inch frothy tan head that sticked around a long time. There’s also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like roasted malt, bittersweet chocolate, coffee and chili peppers. It tastes like roasted malt, smoke, bittersweet and milk chocolate, chili peppers, molasses and some coffee. The chili pepper in this beer isn’t strong at all. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it’s slick and creamy with moderate carbonation. Pretty easy to drink for a beer that’s 12.3% ABV. Overall, I liked this brew. It’s nice and tasty, although I wish there was more of a chili pepper kick to it. $12.99 a bottle.

Pours black with just a thin band of dark brown around the edges of the glass. Smallish light brown head. The aroma is cocoa powder, brownies, light chili, caramel and a little dark fruitiness. Mild booze. Nice, big chocolate flavor. The taste is sweet but dries out well in the finish for the strength of the beer. Lots of chocolate. Dark chocolate and cocoa abound. Chili is mild again but may have been more present when fresh. Big roast note persists in the aftertaste. Full, smooth feel. Creamy and round. Very well made and tasty chili imperial stout.

Kran 0.1L.
Wygląd: Czarne, brunatna, średnioobfita, zbita, trwała piana.
Aromat: Intensywny, słodki, figi, daktyle, lekko wędzone, czekolada, porto, michałki, nugat.
Smak: Bardzo słodkie, czekolada, likier czekoladowy, kawa rozpuszczalna.
3 razy mniej słodkie a byłoby genialne.

Bottle shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad. Served alongside the cognac version. Black body with a thin, wispy, beige head. Chocolate and roast aroma with some char notes. Sweet and dry with tons of chocolate, finishing with warming alcohol. Distinctly European in style. Rich chocolate cake. I’m having difficulty picking out any chilis - perhaps they have faded. There is a subtle spice character throughout, however. Still, quite tasty. I give a slight nod to the cognac variant.

Big heat with the ABV and the chilies. Juicy pepper in the aroma. Pretty tasty. Rich cocoa tones, not unlike most Scandinavian stouts. The pepper adds some nice depth. Vegetal pepper tones last into the aftertaste. Quite a solid beer.
