Amber with white head. Aroma of grapefruit. Flavour of malt and spices. Habanero (4759) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUL 28, 2012
Pours slightly hazy and deep golden/ amber with a medium sized off-white head. Nose of peach, citrus, brett and caramel. Sweet flavor with fruity hops, brett and caramel. Medium bodied, oily texture and average carbonation. Ends up dry and nice bitter. An interesting and different 2xIPA BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 25, 2012
33cl, as Ov-ral IIPA, new exclusive Danish collab. brew Anno 2012, with Brettanomyces, from Geers Oostakker, complex bitter brew, woody/bitter and slightly sour/alcoholic, heavy, not balanced, hazy, good head, good brew, yet expensive! Bottle split with mcberko. Pours a rich amber orange with tiny white lacing. Aroma (like a saison) of citrus fruit/peel - lemon, lime zest, butterscotch, lots of funk, yeast, soured cherries, hay. Flavour is very intricate and far more complex than I expected. Lots of funk, yeast, horse blanket, very bitter and harsh overtones, citric, clean acetone, very funky. Bitter, high acidity, light sweetness to back - largely bitter and yeasty. dry, with an interesting flavour profile. Decent. mcberko (18389) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 24, 2012
11.2 oz. bottle, pours an opaque bright orange with a small white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, brett, loads of funk, very wild smelling, and then some noticeable dry hops in the back, along with some very feint dried tropical fruit peels. Flavour is complex as hell, with shitloads of funk, some wet horse blanket (almost gueuze-like), and lots of Belgian yeast - these are what dominate the beer. The IIPA characteristics are pretty subtle, kicking in later and in the background, with some exceedingly dry citrus peel flavoured hops. Finishes very dry, funky and wild. I definitely get the Orval comparison, but this seems closer to a gueuze. The IIPA qualities are very subdued. A superb beer - very complex and dry.

330 ml bottle - pours deep orange wth clear amber hints. fine bubbly white transparant head. Aroma is - first of all INCREDIBLY balanced for an IIPA - I get deep peach, pineapple, lytchee, even mango and something milky + exotic sweets. Body is full, so full and creamy. There is a slight alcohol burn from the middle that makes all other subtle tastes (exotic fruits, brett funkiness) fade away - which is a pity. Overall a decent yet very flavourfull IIPA. Thanks! A orange beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma is at least interesting mix of tropical fruits and brettanomyces, peaches and citrusfruits, green apples and leather saddle. Taste of tropical fruits, fructose, some pine, quite lots of sweetness, brettanomyces and lots of tart, green apples. Medium+ bodied, slippery to drink. Interesting experiment, but not totally succesfull, IPA and brettanomyces are not mixing together very nicely, for separately both elements are nice. drfabulous (8222) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 21, 2012
12 ounce from Shenanigans. Hops and caramel. But also funk and sourness in the aroma and in the bitterness. Big alcohol. Very sweet as well as funky. BeerBaboon (2114) - FINLAND - JUL 20, 2012
Colour of clear copper. White head. Aroma of caramel, pines and exotic fruits. I can spot mango and passionfruit. Flavour is bitter, sour, acidic, fruity and piny. Full bodied and good looking beer. Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 20, 2012
From a 33 cl bottle at home. Amber, a bit hazy beer with a offwhite head. Hoppy, tropical fruits, some perfume aroma. Hoppy, malty and a bit nutty flavour with to much alcohol. Otherwise a nice beer.
