Orange hazy pour with a small. creamy, white head. Some lacing.
Fresh citrus hop aroma with lots of juicy malt supporting the hops. Some pine resin as well.
The taste goes over your tongue with the juicy malt sweetness going first with the hop bitterness chasing right on the heels of the sweetness. All stays pretty much in balance however.

Bottle @ Dan’s house. Slightly hazy, yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Huge grapefruit, pineapple hoppy nose. Pretty bitter, floral, grapefruity citrusy hoppy flavor with some booze. Bitter, slightly boozy, grapefruity finish. TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 30, 2011
Bottle (picked up in Australia but drunk in NZ). So much grapefruit and toffee, pine and citrus, crisp but creamy. A damn fine example of a IIPA, I’m delighting in the lingering dryness. thornecb (5878) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 28, 2011
Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Off-white head with little retention recedes to mottle surface. Earthy resin and pear aromas. Sweet caramel and oats upfront turning to hot resin in the dry, lasting finish. Travlr (24292) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 24, 2011
Bottle at Churchkey. Murky golden color, white edge head. Aroma of citrus > pine. Taste is grapefruit and pine resins. Incredible body. Nice one.

330. ml. bottle. Pours a medium, ivory head, with some lacing, over a hazy light amber (SRM 7) body....nose is medium pine, light citrus, toffee/caramel....taste is sweet toffee/caramel to start, then pine, citrus bitterness, with a touch of pineapple arrive to partially balance the sweetness, finishing with a light licorice tone, the bitterness lingers....mouth feel is thick, carbonation low. This is a pretty typical IIPA. It is nicely balanced, has all the aromas and flavors one expects. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7 jc4031 (129) - Colorado, USA - JUN 20, 2011

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours hazy peach with a transient creamy off-white head. Aroma is almost slightly old cat pee- but lets call it over-heated citrus. Flavor is floral, cooked light stone fruit, and citrus. It is nicely bitter and extremely pleasing. marcus (10144) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 20, 2011
Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours cloudy blonde with a modest off-white head and a funky fruit aroma. There is a slightlly sour caramel malt flavor with a lot of fruitiness and a bitter finish. A very nice version of DIPA. GMCC2181 (1608) - Newark, Delaware, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Bottle picked up at StateLine.... Poured into a snifter... cloudy orange color. Taste good! Kind of a fruity DIPA.... Citrus, mango, pineapple, light pine notes, grass, musty. On the sweet side. Lots of stuff going on here. Very enjoyable. Texture is on the heavier/thicker side. Alcohol isnt noticable but it warmed me up quickly. Overall: Overall is a good DIPA from my favorite euro brewery! (I am biased... love mikkeller brews!) Another thanks to matt from stateline for picking this out!
