Light amber color; creamy head. The aroma is strong, nice, hoppy, fruity (apricots, peaches and durian), lightly cheesy. The body is quite round, and surely bold; there is some sweet malt and toffee flavor, quite clean, with a powerful bitterness, bringing a lot of hop resins and enough fruity character, bitter oranges. Very good.
Hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel, sweet fruity and very hoppy - grapefruit and peach. Flavor is rather sweet and very bitter. Very dry and bitter finish. A bit rough on the edges, but very good overall. I had this on tap at Fairbar at the sneak preview. 141010 Koelschtrinker (20242) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUL 28, 2015
Heller, hopfig malziger Antrunk. Ansprechende Würzigkeit, angenehme milde und unterstützende Alkoholigkeit. Mild herb, der honigartige Hopfen steigt. Dies intensiviert sich zum Ende weiter, vollmundig, weich. 11/11/12/12/8/11 Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2013
Tap at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell - 29/11/12.
Pours a hazed mid amber wih a thin off white head.
Nose is bitter hops, caramel malt, toffee, light whiff of chlorene, pine, burnt tones.
Taste comprises soured and bitter grapefruit, sweet caramelised sugars, light dungyness, touch of booze.
Fuller end of medium bodied with a little too much spritz in the carbonation for my liking.
Drinkable a strange mix of sweet and sour, but not really my bag!

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden beer with a small offwhite head. Fruity, creamy, hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavor, perfume, metal, rather bitter. Nice bitterness bit a bit onedimensional. saxo (18208) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2010
Bottle from Fairbar. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, caramel and flowers. Nice long bitter finish. mcberko (17339) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 29, 2011
UPDATED: JUL 30, 2011 12 oz. bottle, split with Matts_Property, pours a cloudy peachy orange with a white head. Aroma is insanely hoppy, with truckloads of citrus hops, some tropical fruits (peach, mango), loads of grapefruit, with not much malt backing to be detected. Flavour begins caramely and fruity, even sweet at the beginning, then the mountains of hops pummel through and completely coat your palate, leaving an uncompromising hop destruction of your palate. Excellent. chrisv10 (17325) - DENMARK - OCT 14, 2010
Tap @ FairBar. Hazy golden with small white head. Flavour is malt, little sweet, fruit, tons of bitter and aroma hops and notes of alcohol. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2011
Bottle. A hazy, amber beer with a small, beige head. Punch in the face American hoppyness in the aroma, Pine cones, resins and citrus peel. The malts are present, but at appropriate levels. Lovely bitterness in the mouth, with the hoppy and malty flavors expected. Not too malty and sweet. Full body, pleasant carbonation and with a little warmth. Lasting bitter finish with citrus and pine cones. A nice one indeed, but not world class. Would like to drink more of it. 110301
