Pours a cloudy golden colour with a big fluffy dirty white head leaving nice lace up the glass. Aroma is sweet orange citrus, sweet maltiness, fruity and notes of pine. Flavour is sweet caramel, citrus, pine, some alcohol(not harsh), spiciness, bitterness is high and lingers into the aftertaste without being harsh but much more enjoyable and a dry finish. Very well balanced IIPA.
Bottled. Small sample. The aroma has light biscuit, lots of citric hops, bit cheese. Bit hazy, orange coloured beer with a medium sized off-white head. The taste is very bitter and has citrus, biscuit, yeast tones. Medium bodied and carbonated. JPDIPSO (6216) - Wauwatosa, USA - NOV 30, 2016
Hazy to milky golden colored liquid. Diminished ecru head leaving a heavy sheet of lace. Citrus, candi and celery are the three C’s which I cense from the start in my snoot and actually seem to stay present throughout. Heavy feel, but oily enough to glide it over the palate. Quite sweet and some real floral and perfumy things drifting about. A little too sweet for my liking. A dessert type IIPA. 9/11

Even though I accidentially got a bottle which was a couple of months after Best Before, this beer is jam-packed with hops - both in the aroma and in the taste. Can’t really believe/taste the stated 408 IBU but quite some beer to enjoy. Idiosynkrasie (7419) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2016
330ml bottle. Moderately cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty basis with an almond touch, hints of oat flakes on apple purée, zesty notes of lemon and orange, hints of grapefruit. Taste is citrusy hoppy, moderate but insistent hop bitterness, zesty notes of lemon and orange, hints of grapefruit, pale and caramel malty backbone with cautious almond touch. Hits you hard: first you get thrilled and become wide awake - but immediately thereafter you feel tired, laboured, hammered... Lubiere (13771) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 29, 2016
A murky dark amber ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light sulfur notes, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pungent and intense. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with vinous character, barley wine like, treacle, light butterscotch, resinous and piney floral hops, grapefruit pulp, alcohol warmth, very nice.

big, heavy, fruity, pithy, piney, sticky, moderate carbonation, full bodied, opaque deep amber-brown, fluffy beige head, warming
Clamorosa IPA fruttata, caramellata e luppolata all’inverosimile. Unisce alla perfezione le tre caratteristiche emblematiche dello stile in un fantastico abbraccio dolce (zucchero caramellato e albicocche) e amaro (luppolo, luppolo, luppolo!). Corposa, liquorosa, clamorosa. Epica! gcontano (20) - Lille, FRANCE - OCT 27, 2015
pours light hazy gold with a small lasting white head. Aroma is resiny, pine and grapefruit, caramel malts, sticky sweet malts with loads of hop and a very bitter and boozy finish. Medium bodied, sticky texture, Svesse (8573) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 2, 2015
(Bottle) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, treacle-toffee, crisp-bread, citrus, orange peel, lychee, grapefruit and some boozy aromas. Malty, fruity, vinous taste with notes of caramel, crisp-bread, orange peel, grapefruit, burnt rubber, dried apricots and a heavy citric, resiny bitterness in a finish with a certain alcohol glow. Full body, fairly sweet. Some of the hops get lost in the heavy malt character, but it’s still quite bitter. Quite sweet and boozy, so it’s not really in perfect balance, but quite enjoyable in moderate doses. Nice one. jc1762 (1370) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 2, 2015
Into a teku showing half a finger of clean white foam and dark honey. Low filtration.
The nose shows a lot of sweet caramel malts with some faint hints of mango and pineapple.
The palate is full bodied and lightly carbonated. Mostly malt on the attack. Some tropical hops on the finish but faint.
