Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid orangy copper with 2-finger frothy and copious lacy white head. Not off-white, but very white. Nose is great; a huge pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, black pepper medley that knocks your olfactory receptors into next week with their awesome IBU and hopcitrus bill. Tastes rich, complex, with a huge caramel malt load, a ton of resiny hop flavors, tangerine, pineapple, black pepper, and a crisp satisfying finish. Say hello to one of the world’s best IPAs, and get ya some, even if you have to pay Danish shipping rates. Kosmokrator (849) - ITALY - DEC 2, 2015
Clamorosa IPA fruttata, caramellata e luppolata all’inverosimile. Unisce alla perfezione le tre caratteristiche emblematiche dello stile in un fantastico abbraccio dolce (zucchero caramellato e albicocche) e amaro (luppolo, luppolo, luppolo!). Corposa, liquorosa, clamorosa. Epica! HomerBeerOdysy (103) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 1, 2014

Whoaaa! What a beer! I let it warm up a bit out of the fridge. It poured with a huge, foamy, frothy, sudsy, cream colored head that mostly settled down and lots of clingy lace. Color is a cloudy medium amber with plenty of bubble trails. Aroma is a heady whiff of very fresh poetent hops, malt, fruits, caramel, and a faint fleeting hint of solvent. Flavor is much the same. Great body and carbonation. Finish is very long and like flavor. Too rich and strong (although no sense of alcohol) to be a session. Cybercat (5893) - Georgia, USA - OCT 5, 2011
Rich aroma is strongly hoppy with a firm citrus undertone that is mainly orange with a note of grapefruit. It pours a hazy dark honey-amber with a fairly thick off-white head. Strong flavor is, no surprise, mainly hoppy yet minimally bitter and has a firm note of sweet citrus plus a sour touch - very tasty. Rough texture is quite fizzy and leaves a hoppy, citrus tingle behind. A must if you like good IPAs!

Very strong hoppy smell. Almost an eteric oil strong one. Pours with quite some head, brown-ish. First taste is full bodied, very well balanced and you just search for the 408 ibu bitterness, but it’s not there! It comes after you swallow and pleasantly dries your mouth. An excellent beer! It’s unclear, dark orange with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of oranges and other citrus, peach – lots of peach. The flavour is sweet and has lots of fruity notes, primarily a lot of peach, but also oranges and other citrus, pineapple, papaya and a light bitterness – it’s a really fantastic, tasteful, aromatic and harmonic DIPA!! Bottle thx to benzai! Hazy orange colour with a big white head. Smells hops, grapefruit, fresh, apricots, deep. Tastes bitter, hops, grapefruit, fresh. Long lasting bitter and fresh taste. perfect carbo, full body. This is what imperial ipa’s should be like. Prokroustis (745) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - JUL 17, 2012
Cloudy orange body, creamy off white head. Great bittersweet aroma with grapefruit, mango and caramel. Awesome flavour with caramel and lots of grapefruit, some pine, pineapple. Excellent.
