English: The sequel to the Mikkeller/To Øl collab "Overall IIPA". The same beer but with tons of nice nutty aromatic espresso coffee. This is hybrid beer if ever seen one. The combination of fruits and citrus from the hops and the round coffee aromas plus the warmth of the alcohol makes this a clash of a IIPA, Black IPA, American strong and Barley Wine. Cheers!

Botella.

Bottle. Hazy deep amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is coffee, malt and piney hops. Flavor is sweet malt, coffee, pine and some fruitiness. Medium to full body, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a good combination.

A - Hazy amber-brown with a finger of frothy off-white head. Fades fairly slowly. S - Sweet caramel malts, grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops, roasted coffee, brown sugar, and some booze. T - Sweet caramel malts, grapefruit, citrus, and pine hops, some resiny bitterness, roasted coffee, brown sugar, and some booze. M - Medium-plus bodied, moderate carbonation. Smooth with a bitter, sweet, warming finish. D - Nice balance, could have had a bit more punch.

berntholer (1618) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - MAY 13, 2013
thick ivory white head, foam head with lacing. orange-amber colour (surprise!). smells like coffee but also has a spicy component that reminds of coffee grounds, hop fruity, a BIPA like smell, spicy and cereals. tastes sweet, coffee (grounds), fruity, mango with long bitter sweet aftertaste. medium carbonation and thick mouthfeel. bottle 33 cl / best before 7/1/’15

kaser (6366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Can't believe this poured orange and not dark. Very cloudy orange and thick looking. Doesn't taste like it looks. Quick dissipating head. Heavy beer. Coffee taste for sure but definatly has all the IPA attributes. One of a kind beer. Never had anything like it. Quality shit

zgaier (1962) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Pours a cloudy orange with a beige head and sweet aroma of hops, citrus and coffee. Taste is bittersweet, of hops, citrus, caramel, coffee, some fruit and cream which come with a dry, hoppy finish. Unique brew, never had an IPA with coffee

jjgmd (2220) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2013
Pours a dirty hazy dark golden rusty color. Nose is hoppy and citrusy with some subtle coffee. Taste is bitter with citrus and pine and some breakthrough sweetness. Finish is bitter and lingers, with the same bold citrus and subtle coffe notes. quaff scores 7 / 10

Geokkjer (7643) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle.Pours deep golden with a dense off-white head. Aroma of coffee, malt, some floral notes and peach. Flavor is sweet and malty with some coffee, floral hops and peach. Medium body, average carbonation.

yngwie (17168) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle. An unclear dark golden beer, almost without head. Lots of coffee in the aroma, with the pinecones and grapefruit in the far back. The flavor is less on the coffee side, but still the coffee dominates. Blends nicely with the orange, grapefruit and pine cones. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness kicks in towards the end. A nice one indeed, but maybe a tad too much coffee all the way. Surprisingly low on alcohol aroma and flavor considering the ABV. 130504

Meilby (11639) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours slightly amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, citrus, grape, orange and hint of coffee. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter with a long fruity, bitter and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
