Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours amber with a slight haze and a creamy off-white head. Caramellish nose with some citrusy hops and a spicy edge. Solid body, very caramellish, somewhat estery, powerful and sweet but never cloying. Even though the hops arent crisp they manage to balance the sweetness throughout. Enjoyable. 031212

Hazy amber - brown beer. Big pale cream coloured head. Nose of orange liqueur and marmalade! Palate is soft. Airy creamy malt, slightly dry. Taste follows the nose with orange liqueur and marmalade. Finishes semi dry with mild orange bitterness. A luxuriant and unusual barley wine.

Bottle. Hazy amber color, no head to speak of. Aroma is very floral, more hop aroma than the average barleywine. Taste is sweet caramel with a bit of spice.

Hazy red-amber color, with medium sized creamy head. Different aroma, moderately pungent, strange hop mix (light), not strong. The caramel and malt flavor is decent, but not rich and sweet as typical Barley Wines; it has a toffee note too, and strong bitterness, with good resins and some fruity side, and moderate alcohol perception. Medium long final.
The malt profile is between a Barley Wine and an English Strong Ale, well hopped obviously; and professionally brewed, clean; but not exciting.
