Poured at Shelton Festival, black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, licorice. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, very boozy, light dry finish, good. LilBeerDoctor (4229) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2017
Bottle. Pours black with a very thick frothy tan head. Aroma of barrel, roasted malt, dark fruits. Not too much to the aroma. Slight roastiness with a hint of fruits. Flavor of roasted malt, oak, dark fruits, with pineapple in the finish. An odd beer, which is clear going in. Not a typical combination of flavors. It kind of works but is a little odd.

Interesting imperial stout from To Øl, mildly sweet with subtle but discernible notes of pineapple and coffee, a restrained mix of fruit with a more straightforward dark-n-roasty stout profile. Unsweetened chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, cherry, anise, and raisin all swirl around the pineapple, while the java grows more potent and acidic on the back end. Fade brings up coffee cherries and dark chocolate. Grows sweeter as it warms, but never oppressively so. Pours a thick black with a large brown head and massive lacing. Nose is mostly chocolate with traces of coffee. Perfect feel, smooth and rich without a trace of boozy heat. Good beer. tightslice (1526) - Redwood City, California, USA - AUG 12, 2017
Bottle from K&L in Redwood City, CA. Aroma is ripe fruit, pineapple, dark chocolate. Taste is tangy, fruity, dark chocolate, fudge. Not getting lot of coffee but the pineapple and dark chocolate flavors work really well. daje (4548) - NORWAY - JUL 16, 2017

Restrained malt aroma in a black pour. Laid back taste with hints of coffee and chocolate in a tangy fruit body. An enjoyable variation on the style. Mindwarp (323) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 18, 2017
Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts and dark chocolate. Taste is a watered down roasted malt that leads in to pineapple juice and some acidity. Overall a different stout was hoping for a bit more sweetness. explosivedog (1813) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 11, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 11, 2017 375ml bottle. Pours black with a huge dark brown head. Coffee, chocolate, cherry, dried pineapple, caramel, pineapple juice near the end. Lovely mix of bitter, sweet and tart pineapple. Really grew on me as it warmed.
