"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

33cl bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with a dense frothy off-white head, settling quickly. Aroma is mandarin, citrus, peel, tropical fruits. Taste is also really hoppy, mandarin and citrus fruits up front, tropical fruits, orange peel, pale malts, light sweet with plenty of bitterness in the finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Best lager I've had so far.

Can from Pezinská pivná pumpa.
Hazy amber with stable white head. Aroma is getting really close to IPA, hoppy, citruses, bit dull in the end though, a honey?
Taste is nice hoppy, with grass in the beginning slowly moving to good bitter finish. Is this really a lager?

0.33l bottle. Hopy and malty aroma, light caramel notes, light resin notes, light fruity notes. Hazy amber color, thick white head. Hopy and malty taste, citrus notes, light resin and caramel, medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and malty and hopy bitter finish. Good.

suurjuust (3811) - ESTONIA - SEP 24, 2017
330ml bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Nose is fruity and floral, some malts here and there. Tastes like a fruity-hoppy lager with a decent dose of grapefruity/citric notes. Hoppy finish. Really drinkable.

Citrus, herbs, flowers, resin, malts in nose. Pours clody orange with white head. Taste is medium dry with herbal notes followed by citrus, resin and flowers. Nice malty backbone. High bitterness at the finish, average to lively carbonation. Overall nice malty profile but lacks of balance, overhopped.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2017 Very very strong hoppy taste and smell for a pilsner, has a strong hoppy aroma upon pouring the beer which is clear golden, has a strong bitter aftertaste which has a lingering aftertaste of hops, definitely recommended if you're into strong bitter beers, for a pilsner i find it too strong and bitter to be a pilsner yet just right west coast IPA

Pours a hazy light orange with a very nice big and quite dense head that stays. Good lacing. Aroma shows a kind of resinous/grassy feel, though with a softish feel to it, plus juicy notes of orange and grapefruit (something like citrus marmalade may be the best attempt at defining this). Overall it’s nice and quite vivid. Taste follows the aroma. The slightest maltish/caramel entry, a soft grassy/resinous feel, juicy citrus marmalade. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Again pleasant and quite vivid, but finish is slightly chewy/dirty (not as clean as one would expect from a lager, though very much passable). Light to medium body with average carbonation, overall quite soft and going down easy. A very easy drinker and a nicely refreshing beer. Well done.
