COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Sometimes when you’re drunk you can see better."

This is the lager. This is the pilsner, the lager, the bottom fermented beer. This is the Captain on the deck, one of the lone lagers cruising on the ocean of ale. To Øl actually loves lager type beers, and sometimes lagers is missed out because of the many great ales present. Problem is that most people who brew lagers apparently has a taste of old dusty piss yellow obnoxious stale impotent beers. So now was the time to stir things up and tell the people how you can do a super hoppy, well balanced pilsner type beer!

Fules (1260) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - JUL 18, 2017
Kicsi, tartós, piszkosfehér hab, narancsba hajló félbarna szín. Citrusos, déligyümölcsös, fűszeres illat. Markán, citrusos, déligyümölcsös, némileg fűszeres ízek, kevés gyantával. Halványan kiviláglik a lágeres alap is. Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, erősen keserű. Kellemes, élénk ízvilágú sör.

No no takiego lagerka to bardzo prosze. 4 rodzaje chmieli w tym moj ulubiony NS z NZ. piwo jest lekko metnawe pomaranczowe, pachnace sfermentowana nadpsuta pomarancza. W smaku mnostwo, mnostwo goryczy, zywicy, nieco trawiaste, sosnowe. Extremalna gorycz dominuje nad wszystkim. Niektore IPA moga sie chowac

On tap. Old note. The aroma has toffee malts, bit citrus. Bit hazy, amber coloured beer with a thin head. The taste is light bitter, citric, bit malty sweet. Okay.

Hazy orange, fizzy, with a nice fluffy head and excellent lacing. Aroma is floral with strong citrus notes. Hard to believe it’s a Pilsner, it tastes real malts, not the usual funky piss lager malts and huge hoppiness, strong citrus, lemon, with pleasant tart notes. Crisp, refreshing, lively carbonation, smooth and creamy, although in a quite light body. Astringent finish with lemony notes. Surprisingly good.

Bottiglia.

Can at home. Pours a slightly hazed orange/gold with a lively head that fades down leaving nice lacing. Aromas of pineapple, mango, pomegranate juice, peach, a juicy tropical bomb on the nose. Flavour is a beautiful hoppy tropical/bitter balance. Lots of again mango and pineapple with orange and lychee. The finish is biscuits and pine. Delicious

17-05-2017; fles; thuis. The beer has a nice golden yellow colour. It is quite cloudy, but not 100%. You can see trough it a little. On top of the beer a nice layer of rough white foam with average retention is formed. Nice. The smell of the beer is very nice. It is quite special. Pilsner with massive amounts of hops. I like it. There is a nice sweeter maltiness, forming a good base for the rather strong hops. Hop aromas are lovely. They are citric, a bit piney and give delicious refreshing bittersweet and slightly sour aroma’s. I love this huge hop kick in a pilsner. The taste of the beer is the same. Nice malty base on top of which some strong hops are thrown. The hops give some citric sours, bitters and sweets and also a piney touch. The malts also contribute to the sweetness. I like it. More kick than regular pilsner. Wish all pilsners were as good as this. The palate of the beer is good. Medium light body, a bit sticky texture and high carbonation. The finish contains some nice bitter and refreshing hops. Lovely. All in all, a great beer. It drinks away as easily as a pilsener, but tastes like a tough IPA. Lovely.

Mortlach (2350) - Rome, ITALY - MAY 12, 2017
Bottle shared by Plastica @Mad for Beer (Rome). Dotata carica, appena torbida, schiuma bianca media persistente. Al naso note di malto, frutta gialla, cocco. In bocca è maltata con finale amaro medio. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Così così...
