375 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 6/23/2021. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy dark orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, vanilla, toffee, rum, toasted oak, biscuit, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of grapefruit, orange peel, apricot, raisin, cherry, pine, chocolate, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/bready/light roasted malt, rum chips, and light-moderate citrus/fruity hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, vanilla, toffee, rum, toasted oak, biscuit, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of grapefruit, orange peel, apricot, raisin, cherry, pine, chocolate, pepper, herbal, floral, grass, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy bitterness and light rum/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread, vanilla, toffee, rum, toasted oak, biscuit, nuttiness, grapefruit, orange peel, pepper, pine, floral, grass, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance dark/bready/light roasted malt, rum chips, and light-moderate citrus/fruity hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light dryness from lingering bitterness, lightly increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky, and slightly resinious/tannic/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 10%; no rum booziness. Overall this is a fantastic imperial red ale! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance dark/bready/light roasted malt, rum chips, and light-moderate citrus/fruity hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV. Slightly hazy red to brown body with a large, creamy, dense, beige, very long-lived head that ends up as a thin layer, good lacing. Malty and strong aroma of caramel, caramel and caramel. Also dark dried fruits, overripe generic fruity notes, and brown rum. Very strong flavour, with sweet caramel being the most important contributor by far. Also strong notes of brown rum, brown sugar, burnt sugar, dark dried fruits, overripe fruits and vanilla, and traces of banana. Moderate sweet taste with a long-lasting moderate bitter finish. Full body, smooth texture, quite soft carbonation. A fabulous brew!

375ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Hamar. Huge off-white head slowly diminishing over a amber-reddsh body. Caramel malts and berry fruits on the nose. Flavoured with apricot, wood, caramel and rum. UPDATED: FEB 19, 2017 Botella 37.5 cl de cervezalandia tomada en Oviedo 17..02..2017. Fcpref 23..06..21. (r39). Color oscuro casi negro con espuma beige oscuro. Aromas y sabores maltosos tostados con toques de caramelos algo toatados y ahumados y ciertos dulces. Ligeros especiados finales.
