"Heaven knows no frontiers, and I’ve seen heaven in your eyes"

This is how the Frontier beer series lost their ground, missed direction and finally found themselves again. This beer has no frontiers, meaning that it can now pick and choose among brewing specialties. Instead of being an IPA, this is a rather a Belgian ale, hopped and dryhopped with continental european hops and refermented with brettanomyces. A tart, picturesque and rural beer.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt, hops, Rock Candy, yeast and brettanomyces.

Bottle courtesy of Geraint and Helen, consumed at home, Friday 5th June 2015 Fresh, zippy nose, lively zesty with brett showing but in a balanced way. Lightly tart, and a touch of funkiness, possibly beer of the evening. Great stuff. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Light Brett aroma, with a hint of hops, the rock candy dominates the flavour, making it just too sweet , would have liked more Brett or hop dominance .

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2016 Cloudy honey orange/brown color, small white head. Some hops, but surprisingly mild. Sweet taste with sour finish, yeasty. Medium body, average carbonation. Expected much more. (Svijet Piva 0,75l bottle)

Bottled 750ml. -at Svijet Piva Zagreb. Cloudy orange coloured, medium sized white to off-white head, slight fruity nose. Moderate malty, spicy, yeasty, fruity and notes of alcohol with touch of brett in rather bitter finish. Smooth and easy going brew but to be honest pretty ordinary.

Beerenberger (1605) - Fischer, Texas, USA - APR 21, 2015
Aroma of Brett, and a mild farmyard fragrance. The pour is a cloudy orange with white ring and a small amount of lacing. The taste is a strong farm house ale. Brett, slight citrus, and mild farmhouse funk. Delightful. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, DELIGHTFUL,

Hazy/cloudy amber/brown color, big white head. Aroma of coriander, yeast, malt, some hoppiness. Taste is malty, very fruity, spicy, peachy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Mainly sweet, but also slightly bitter. Not bad, but too expensive for what it is.

Bottle at Delirium Café together with Mathieu87, thanks! Orangewith quite a big head. It’s very Orval-like, but more like a young one. There’s hints of brett, yeast, herbs, nice bitterness. Very nice beer.

75 cl Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Lightly hazy orange color, full sized soapy white head. Smells saison-ish, a little yeasty, a slight hint of brett. Taste lightly malts, again some brett, some herbs or spices, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Ok but not really my thing.
