Can from Hogs Back Brewery. Quite a powerful aroma - yet yeasty citrus cloveyness, which you'd expect, with edge, spices and skunkyness. Light gold, perhaps some haze but that could be my eyes. Lively frothy white head soon calms down. Light bitter. A tad citrus..Some caramel caramel sweetness. However it really reminds me of the spices ESBs I was having over the Christmas period. The spices take over, if not being too OTT. Medium bodied. Relatively light but benefits from a soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. Easy drinking. Could have happily knocked a few back over Christmas.

Keg at MK BG, 13/02/18. Very lightly hazed pale blonde with a decent white head. Nose is tangy citric fruits, straw, light herbal notes, faint spice. Taste comprises lemon rind, white peppery spice, grassy bite, gentle herb, light hop. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent wit.

From Degustasur. Playing Bloo Kid 2. In Teku glass. Lots of ingredients, with lime standing out, that gives it an original, tasty and somehow christmaty profile. Not seems wit

Can from Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour lasting off white head. Witbier yeast aroma. With a little fruit and spice on aroma. More orange in the mouth definitely. Good in mouth. Yes pretty tasty I thought. some bitter hop on the finish. Some lemon and lime I suppose. Spicyness builds on the finish. Yes the orange zest comes through most. I liked it.

5.5%ABV. Belgian white. (Santastique) Poured out gold. 6SRM Nose has drying cane sugar, dried pee funk. Mouthfeel is light and beery. Palate has some spice and wood that reminds of Brett. Pale malt and wheat malt with flour and doug. Hops are spicy with wood biter flavors, pine needles at the back end. Bergamot lemon zest. Finish is brief, woody bitter with pine and clean.

Bottle. A clear golden colored beer with a small white head. Lightly spiced, fruity aroma with some notes of pale malts. Perfumed, orangey notes too. It's medium to full bodied, nicely carbonated and mostly on the dry side. Pale malts, orangey citrus and a generic grounds in the flavor, with a pleasant spiced note. Lasting fruity and lightly spiced finish. A very fine one indeed. 171223
