Krass kratzig ledriger Strong Ale Hobel. Burnt roggy und ultra hopfenbitter. Kantig und mit der Brechstange. Geilo :) ..aber dadurch auch etwas unausgewogen. Muss glaub ich, nochmal in den Keller ;). RARE BEER TASTING, BRAUKUNST LIVE 2017. Samtzu (627) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - JUL 22, 2017
750ml bottle. Pours a deep amber with slight off white head. Fruit and spice on the nose. Starts off as a medium body which quickly develops into a full body. Flavour is originally bitter but again quickly develops into an extremely rich sweet fruit and spice profile. The finish is a little bit of a let down as the alcohol comes through and the compelxity wears off. I would love to put another bottle down for a few years to see if this removes the end tastes. berlinoise2go (689) - NORWAY - DEC 23, 2013
Bottle (75cl) from Vinmonopolet (Vika), Oslo. Gorgeous copper/amber colour, slighly hazy. Half-inch offwhite sticky head, good retention, leaves a stable band of lacing. Aoma of concentrated fruit (apple, pear, fig, banana), malt, yeast, rosé pepper. Medium/full body, soft carbonation. Sweet and spicy taste, nicely balanced by fruity acidity and mild bitterness. Quite subtle christmas-ness, but certainly working for me.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2015 brilliant appearance of dark amber colour and huge, dense yellowish-beige-ish head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of dried fruits like figs, some plum, biscuit notes, herbs and alcohol; taste of malty sweetness, herbal and spicy notes, fruitiness, some hoppy bitterness and a bit unbalanced alcohol; not bad, but still needs some ’fine-tuning’ MetalNHopHead (2257) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - MAR 17, 2017
This is one big, sexy, and Christmas-y Belgian Ale. Brown coloring, tan head. Fat malts and spice on the nose - brown sugar, molasses, and anise. Flavors of confectioner’s sugar, licorice, cocoa, and woodsy hops right at the finish. Smooth, rich mouthfeel. Given To Øl’s typically experimental style, Shameless Santa is a fairly traditional Strong Ale. Still, that’s not a complaint as it’s a rather good one. Michal95 (46) - POLAND - NOV 25, 2013
Bottled at home, price isnt enjoyable but beer is worth it. Strong taste, aroma of caramel, alcohol ( sometimes too much alcoholic), banana.
Nice, balanced beer. Very warming and tasty. Cons are too strong taste of alcohol and appearance.
