UPDATED: JAN 3, 2017 Botella 37.5 cl de vivalabirra Oviedo tomada en Belmonte 10..12..2016. (r105). Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro. Inicios con maltas tostadas con buenas dosis de cacaos y vainillas. Ligeros ahumados y quemados maderas y vainillas con un final picante de Chile seco algo terroso de pimentón bien combinado con todo lo demás. Big coal roasted and smoke aromas. Dark thick brown light ring of brown head. It kisses your lips like a rich dark chocolate. Once inside it opens to a roasted rye grain and a wonderful smoke grows from with in. The end all of the flavors come together and fade like the glowing embers of a campfire. Bottle shared during the November THT tasting at deanso’s place. Pours oily black with a small mocha head. Aroma is full of smoke, ash, bell peppers, spicy smoked peppers, chocolate, coffee, roasted malts. Taste is very sweet, medium bitter and quite heavy on the adjuncts. Bottle at almost Dean’s final tasting, but we’ll call it his final tasting anyway. Pours a dark reddish beer with a creamy tanned head on top. Aroma of coffee, caramel, smoke and vegetal chilies. Flavor is smokey sweet with a chilli sensation in the back. Very nice, like a bbq job done good. Very nice.
