English: Enough heavy dark obnoxious sweet super malty x-mas and winter beers. When you eat heavy duck with fat gravy, the last thing you want is another heavy sweet malt liqour!
NO! you want something that can help you digest the dinner, ease you stommach and cleance your throat. And that is exactly what Snowball Saison will do. It is a SUPER sparkling crisp and dry Saison that has been refermented with milk acid bacterias and dry hopped over and over to give the beer a crisp and smooth tart finish (not to mention.... there is a lot of hops of course...)
Have a nice winter!

Ingredients: Water, Malt, Flaked Oats , Light Candy, HOPPPPPSSSSS (Amarillo, Tettnanger, Simcoe, Hallertauer) Yeast and brettanomyces

Bière orangée légèrement amère en entrée de bouche, sèche, accompagnée de notes épicées. Douce au plalais et offre une bonne longeur en bouche

Tap at Erzbierschof. Hazy golden color with small white head. Aroma is dough, spicy, lemony. Taste is apples, pears, pineapple, dough, some spicy yeasts, dry spicy finish. Medium soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Fun Saison, but not excellent.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. An orange-yellow light opaque beer ; few bubbles ; big white foamy head ; medium retention ; good lacing. Fruits (citrus, tropical fruits), resin, light herb. Medium dry bitter refreshing, light to medium sweet, round. Good body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation, fruity dry bitter lasting finish. Overall, very good (15 =17-2) ! Honestly, this tasting was great ! But this beer was more a imperial IPA than a saison ; I didn’t get the Brett aromatic character at all.

Some earthy tang, but sort of all up front with a weak finish. Probably good with food, but still left me wanting more from it and not more of it.

0, 33L bottle bought at HK Brewcraft. Appearance: Pours a hazy golden colour very attractive colour with frothy and large white head. Aroma: Quite hoppy, mainly ripe fruit, lemon, pineapple. Alongside some hay, spice and fresh grass. Some yeast at the end. Taste: Moderate sweetness at first. Bitterness appears towards at the end. Mainly citrus, lemon, grassy, spice and malt. Have some very mild tartness Palate: Lingering bitterness of grass and hay. Herbal yet with hoppy and dry finish. High carbonation with smooth texture. Medium body. Overall: Very fragrant and distinctive arome, though I still prefer a traditional saison. Maybe this is a bit too hoppy and bitterness is slightly strong for a saison (more like Pale Ale-ish bitterness in my opinion). Nice effort though.

Grass, lemony, tart, golden with a good white head, light/medium body, lemony, sour and very hoppy final...not bad, for me a bit too hoppy i prefer more traditional saison.

Bottle. Lovely hazy golden with an orange tint, wonderful white head. Typical phenolic aroma with a healthy doze of fruits, gooseberries, pears and a bit of resin. Light to medium sweetness backed up mostly by light crispy bitterness. Smooth frothy texture, high carbonation. Brilliant!
