COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Imperial Whisky Barrel Aged Milk Stout.

English: The beast has landed. A limited one time release Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout at 13,1 % ABV. "Sort Mælk" = "Black Milk"... Oh Yeah!

Flaska på Bishops, Örebro. Osäker på hur gammal. Svart med litet brunbeiget skum. Stor doft av kola, kaffe, whisky, laktos. Stor, rund kropp. Rejält med kaffe i förgrunden tillsammans med whisky, lakrits, kola. Avslutas i stor kärv kaffebeska.

Pours deep dark in the glass with khaki head. Aroma of whiskey, wood, dark chocolate, demerara sugar, licorice, dark cherries. Flavour is dark chocolate, vanilla, whiskey forward, sweet booze, brown sugar and licorice. Almost full body (I drank the 10.6% ABV version), creamy mouthfeel. I’d liked more complexity on this one. The 13.1% ABV version would be better, I guess.

Pours a black from a bottle, no head. Big tobacco, chocolate and coffee aroma, similar flavor. Started off unbelievably bitter, but now appreciate the balance and lack of sweetness. Very good beer.

Bottle shared by Jesse. Thanks again man! This one pours a very dark brown/black color with a tan head. The aroma has massive notes of tobacco leaf, fudge, coffee, oak and spice. Really complex and mature. The flavor is the same. Tons of fresh tobacco leaf, cigar, oak, dark chocolate and coffee. Rich on the palate. A drink that would pair well with Ron Burgundy, leather bound books and rich mahogany.

Bottle at home. Two year old. Pours a black colour with a dark beige head. Sweet aroma of chocolate, coffee, whisky, soya sauce, licorice and ash. Has a well-roasted flavour with coffee beans, ash, wisky and very dark chocolate. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a balanced bitterness. A pretty roasted IS with sweet tones in the background. Nice and powerful.

Bourbon oak, tabacco, coffee. Very bold and flavorful. Best stout I’ve had to date. Very delicious

Tap at Brus Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is rich roasty malt, molasses. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily liqourice, dark chocolate, light dry coffee palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Pours black with a tan head, dissipates quickly but the lacing is present and clingy. Nose is coffee, dark chocolate, sweet malt, roast, somewhat smoky; just hints of oak and vanilla. Taste is espresso, cocoa, alcohol, molasses, raisins, bourbon. It's not mind-blowing, but it's good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Bottle) Black colour with dense, brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, sweet espresso, cacao, oak wood, black rye bread, muscovado sugar and dried fruit (dates, raisins). Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, sweet liquorice, strong sweet coffee, tobacco, dark fruit, dates, brown sugar, oak wood and a balanced roasty bitterness in a sweet and fiery finish. Almost full body, quite sweet. Not really balanced, possibly a touch too sweet, but really tasty and quite powerful. Very nice.
