Bottle.Sweet liqoury aroma with dark fruit, caffe latte and caramel. Massive, but very smooth, sweety and liqoury taste. Longstanding chocollate-alcoholly aftertaste. I like it. PissSinker (23) - Perth, WA, AUSTRALIA - SEP 14, 2013
Sweet fuck. Get fucked. Shit. Dear me. This is fucked up. I’m a pretty conservative cunt but I’m happy to say that I’d drag my prunes through 120 meters of broken glass and thrice used syringes for a thimble of this shit. Fuck me. Uhlen (251) - Trondheim, NORWAY - FEB 14, 2013
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 Thick oily pour with a brown head. Strong licorice and some leather in the nose. Taste is also licorice, and very sweet. Reminds me of IFA (norwegian licorice-candy). Well masked alcohol aswell, considering it?s high abv. Great beer overall. Love it.

33cl bottle. Pours thick and pitch black with a brown head that disappears relatively quickly. The barrel aged can clearly be tasted but it is not dominating, there's a lovely round sweetness. Stunningly good! Sucks that it's so darn expensive :(

Bottle. One of the darkest beers I’ve ever seen. Totally pitch black with a little dark brown head. Aroma is really well balanced. Coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, roasted malt, sweetness from the lactose. Some barrel character but not extreme amounts. However, the more time it’s in the glass, the more barrel character is provided :) The taste is nothing but amazing - well, maybe perfect. Additionally to all the aroma characters, much more barrel character in the taste, which understandably also gives some alcohol notes. I must say though, because this beer has been developing in the bottle for more than a year now, the little booziness is not unpleasant at all. It provides you with a nice lingering warmth, here on a cold, dark, rainy fall night. Mouthfeel, is close to as full as possibe - not entirely though! Favorite Danish beer? Hell yeah! No questions asked! Favorite beer of all time - on a good, patriotic day, I would say so! Gurthnar (5820) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 11, 2014
Bottle. Aroma is milk chocolate, roasty, raisin. Tempting. Almost black colour, brown head, oily texture. As for the taste - you get fruits up front, raisins, plum. Then strong chocolate with bold, but very smooth roastiness. Woody notes in the dry roasted finish. This really hits the sweet spot. Complex. No sourness or astringency despite the massive roast. Alcohol not perceivable, although the finish is kind of warm. One of the beer world masterpieces. Hopmaestro (1631) - Örebro, SWEDEN - AUG 22, 2014
Aroma of dark forces, leather, roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla. The taste is following the aroma, but adding sweetness to the beefed up appearance. Sweet, harsh, bitter and hot at the same time. Awesome brew! jesperhammer (4727) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2012
