Bottle. Deep copper with large off white head. Fairly muted aromas of fruit, gentle pine and a background malt. Much bolder flavours, leading with grapefruit and a touch of resin, with a strong malt background and nice bitter finish.

Bottle. Very hazy orange-gold, lively white head. Citrus oil hop character and crackers malts, very pithy aspirin bitterness. davidezdonz (566) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - AUG 25, 2015
A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 8th January 2016 and poured into a pint glass. It poured a slightly hazy amber copper colour with a two finger slightly off white coloured head that slowly dissipated into a thin foamy layer with stringy lacing. Aromas start with citrus orange and grapefruit followed by a light hit of tropical pineapple and finishes with a somewhat caramelly note. Taste is strong caramel malts at the beginning but finishes bitter. The aftertaste bitterness lasts long and is largely citrus grapefruit with hints of pine and lychee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, this was quite nice but personally due to the strong hop bitterness, it feels more like an IPA than an APA. Having said that, Southern Frontier is still nice to drink and goes down easy.

Aroma is roasty malts, caramel, honey, yeast, clove, and citrus. Taste is light crystal malts followed quickly by well balanced hop profile. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well. HKdIPA (841) - HONG KONG - JUN 20, 2015
Bottle from Bottle Shop at home. Might be a bit old but not sure. Dark hazy ruby copper pour. Aroma is dank apple juice in that perhaps not fresh fruity hop way. Taste is big fruity hops but again tastes a bit old. Surprising amount of flavor for a pale ale. Feels light and airy in a nice way. Dry bitter finish. Not bad despite being not fresh. Would try again. CacheManyHose (757) - HONG KONG - JUN 20, 2015
Part of Matt's 31st birthday haul. Translucent orange-brown with big off-white sudsy head and thick bubbly lacing. Smells of bready caramel malt, honey, spiced apple, booze, cereal/hay hop. Tastes of honey, apple, woody hop, tart lemon. Body is medium, mineral, fizzy lightly frothy lemon finish. Doesn't taste like the freshest bottle, but a lot of flavour (and more malt than I expected) for a pale ale. Geokkjer (7643) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2015
