can. Murky deep golden with two + finger head. After having several other variants of this series and finding little difference between them, I've been skipping some of these when they come out, but I couldn't pass up Sorachi Ace. Tart, lightly fruity with a bit of funk. Sorachi is present, but in the background more than I'd hoped. I love the idea of showcasing specifc hops, but wish they'd put the hops in more of the spotlight with this series.

Pours amber, large lasting head. Nose shows custard, dill, lemon, soft Bretty notes, light sweet malt. Flavours include lemon pith, a solid acidity, heavy dill, a gentle bitterness.

Can from this month's Beer Merchant box. Sour mashed, with a good amount of Brett funk, and the hop profile of an IPA, which is strange, but kinda fun.

Aroma; hops, sour fruit, mango, strawberry, papaya, banana, gymsox, pale malts. Look; misty deep orange, off white lowhead. Taste; hops, sour tropical fruits, mango, papaya, fruitimalaya, sour strawberry, juicy hops, and fine fruity finish. Feel; good juicy body, carefully carbonated. Overall; very good. Tap, “Vill og syrlig ølfestival” (Wild and sour beerfestival) Oslo, 8. Sept. Hazy pale golden color. Nice lasting white foam. Sour aroma with tones of grass and dill, together with pear peel and citrus fruits, Nice balance nice balance between grassy dill from Sorachi and sour tones. Easy drinkable. Certainly perfect for herring with dill.

Bottle from Pezinská pivná pumpa. Hazy goldish with small head. Aroma is also not that high as expected, you get almost no warning that you are going into the sour. And that's about true, because you won't find much of sour explosion in taste either. Good sour beer for beginners.

Drinked in can. On the nose some diacetyl, seems a lager. No brett notes, maybe is too young. In mouth is light bodied, very drinkable, very refreshing. The after taste is very short. I don’t know. Repeat, maybe is too young.

Can. Golden color, white foam. Aroma: sour, grass and dill, candies. Taste: sour, citrus or citric acid, tart, a little grassy, not bad.

rumore (757) - Rimini, ITALY - AUG 23, 2017
From 50cl can. Pours hazy pale gold with good white foam. Aroma is of orange and mandarin, but also somehow a little spicy. Body is medium with lower carbonation. Finish is nice and sour, with some lasting power.
