Can. Drank straight from it, so no info on the pour. Smell is not typical at all for sorachi. Some green hoppy notes, rather distantly so. Taste is full, sour, but more mild than some of the other ones. very yoghurty, lactic sorachi hops ( thats typical !! ) which work - to my big surprise - extremely well with the sourness. this works together in a way i’ve never imagined. probably the best of all the sur’s by to ol on the market today. Impressive ! Bit too high carbo for me.

Can. It poured a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, lemon and hops. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, floral fruits, hops and a bitter aftertaste. Good stuff.

500 ml can into tulip glass, best before 12/6/2017. Pours slightly hazy deep golden/amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape, citrus peel, peppercorn, dill, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big lightly tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape, citrus peel, peppercorn, dill, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/citrus peel bitterness, yeast spiciness, and lactic tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart lemon, lime, peach, pear, melon, red apple, white grape, citrus peel, peppercorn, dill, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a nice malt/tart/bitter/spiciness balance; and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tart/bitter/spiciness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and acidic/sticky/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Light resins near the end of the glass. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a very nice Brett IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/earthy hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the increasing bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very unique Brett profile, in combination with the Sorachi Ace. A lot of orchard fruits, along with the expected lemon/lime notes. Just a bit too bitter/drying overall, but very enjoyable.

Crowler. Golden looks, medium head. Smells of grape. Tastes bretty with some lemon sorbet and some sorachi herbalness. Little twinge on the tongue. Nice freshness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Almost clear gold beer, big fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is dry and has reasonable carbonation. Lemon tartness that gets very mildly acidic Floral Sorachi lemon emerges and a pinch of sherbet. Light dry finish. Pretty drinkable. Sorachi saves the day. Again.

Dobre. Puszka do 06.12.2017
