500ml can @ Chez Sophie. Pours a generally clear gold with a light mist, large frothy white head. Aroma has a pleasantly light whiff of sorachi coconut. Taste is more sharp and sour in its assertions with a biting acidity, zezty citrus and gentle brett presence. Sorachi takes a back seat, although it is there. Vibrant sour IPA, but would’ve welcomed more sorachi.

Backlog. Wytrawne, kwaśne, sporo lacto, zaskakująco wyraźny i intensywny kokos. Świeże, bardzo dobre.

Kran. W aromacie chmielowo, troszkę mdło. W smaku umiarkowana kwaśność, ponownie nieco mdłe. Goryczka zaznaczona.

Can from the Good Spirits Co Wine & Beer. Hazy gold with a persistent white froth. Nose is all Sorachi and sharp acidity. Taste is really interesting: nutty, creamy Sorachi, sharp, citric acidity, sweetness, and then a hard, bitter finish (almost like walnut skins), but I wish the sour notes were more complex - it seems very simple and citric. Palate is ok, but nothing special. Nevertheless, a very enjoyable beer.

Glass. Can. Orange, medium hazy with moderate to big, white, frothy head. Very good head retention and good lacing. Aroma is grapes, lemon and fresh. Taste is moderately sour with nice facto accents. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft to average carbonation. In overall very nice, sour, refreshing, tart and surprisingly light. Nice, clear sorachi profile - stone fruits, refreshing, dry. Worth trying.
