Golden-apricotish shady body. Off white small hue. Aroma of fruity hops, fruit basket, malts, juniper or crowberries, some smokey tarish notes. Taste is mild and fruity, forest, berries, herbal malts, bread and a note of peat. Mostly soft feel and average body. Finish is a bit short but fruity and living next door to Alice’s farmshed. If You Think You Know How to Love Smokie, just Lay Back in the Arms of Two Towers. [Bottle 33cl abv5.5% [email protected] w Rune & Finn II]

330ml bottle, 5.5 % abv, batch 80 (?), at Vertshuset Skarven, shared with Skinnyviking. Golden-orange coloured body, cloudy. Filmy layer at the top. Dusty hops and earthy malts on the nose with mild farmyard hints. Low peaty taste profile, old books, and Belgian fruits towards the ending. Mid-dry and semi-sweet. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Tromsø 13.01.2015).

Flaske 330ml på Vertshuset Skarven. Gyldenbrun. Høyt tett skum som varer. Forsiktig røykaroma. Smaken er røkt torv med fjøs lurende i bakgrunnen. Ikke helt vellykket. Mye sedimenter igjen på flaska.

Cunningham (7981) - Halden, NORWAY - SEP 5, 2014
Nice unclear deep golden color with a fine frothy white head. Looks really nice. Mild and smooth fruity aroma with some peat. A fine body and a bit oily. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Fine balanced flavor with some peat, some whisky and a bit malty. Decent and nice smoked ale.
