Keg at the Earl of Essex as ’1 shot Alice’ deep amber pour with a small head. The nose is peachy funk, raspberry, apricot, caramel, taste is pretty similar. Light lemon sherbet hop, earthy grass. Keg @ The Earl Of Essex 2013/5/7 From the One Shot Series. Earl of Essex description: "Alice is made from a small percentage of Rye Crystal malt using the Belgian Saison yeast. It is very hoppy and they have used Sorachi, Stella, Simcoe, Galaxy and Marynka hops in late and dry hopping." For me it’s a very pleasant beer. The Belgian yeast on the nose and despite the description a very rye-like flavour. Medium carbonation. Good amount of dryness.
