From bottle. Pours a dark chestnut brown with a beige to yellow head. The aroma is moderately hoppy with pine and citric fruits and balanced. In the background there is roasted malt with coffee and molasses. Medium body with low carbonation and a medium bitterness. 0,1l from bottle at Craft Bier Fest Wien shared with a friend. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of licorice, coffee, bit nutty, some hop notes. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, tea notes, spices, licorice, nutty. finishes lightly bitter with notes of caramel, licorice and tea notes. quite nice one, lacks some hop notes / maybe not the freshest, but still quite enjoyable.

Bottle picked up at the brewery bottle shop. At the campsite in bologna. A dark brown black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan frothy. Aroma is jammy fruit, berries, burnt pine needle, soft charred roasted malts. Flavour is composed of bitter roasted malts, charred wood, burnt pine and earth. Jammy fruits. Palate is medium bodied, highish carbonation. Lingering big bold bitter roast and hop. Good.
