330ml bottle (Kitty’s Helsinki)
Looks good, so dark, and a persistent tight tan head with sticky lacing. Really nettley aroma. Super smooth palate, but in a now-it’s-there-now-it’s-gone way. Like a foam in a wanky restaurant, it’s the thin that’ there but not there! Lovely roast, so nettly spicing, woh, that’s utterly off the wall. What is this beer? No individual component of the beer is amazing, but it’s all extremely interesting and really bloody good. Good show. Now I am convinced Toccalmatto are right at the pinacle of Italian brewing, this is a stand-out beer that every brewer should taste. You may notice I’ve not mentioned hops. Don’t be fooled, this is monstrously hoppy - all the nettles are pure hops.

330ml bottle served in plastic glass. Enjoyed at Craftissimo(http://www.craftissimo.hk) - Hong Kong.
A: Pours a dark brown color forming medium and very creamy tan head. Good retention and lots of soaping lacings left in the glass.
S: Great nose: Roasted malts, bread, grassy hops. Herb, pine, zest, licorice. A bit smoky adnd a bit sour.
T: Slightly sweet upfront followed by a dry, bitter, grassy hops and slightly sour in the end. Great roastiness. Good roasted/hoppy bitterness balance.
M: Medium body. Good carbonation. Roasted/grassy hops aftertaste.
O: Great drinkability. Great Black IPA from Toccalmatto!

Bottle (great label btw). Black. Salt licorice, roast, soft chocolate on nose. Malty, bit dry body, finishes herby piney. Lots of flavour here, pines, bit dry malty slight harsh finish. But has some sweetness too, abv warmth. Quite nice overall.

In bottle. Amazing Aroma and taste to match. My young sun smelt it and said straight away, smells like lychees! He has a point. A smashing full well balanced beer. Top drawer. Forza Italia!

Flanfl (807) - Lyon, FRANCE - FEB 13, 2016
Black body, medium head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, citrus, light roasted malt, smoke. Flavours of citrus, orange, roasted malt. Medium body and carbo. Roasted coffee finish, good bitterness. Good but not fresh so I guess I lost some hoppy notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark brown nearly black, with a medium beige head. Aroma is floral, hoppy and fruity, some coffee. Taste goes very complex, straight bitter-tart, coffee, grapefruit, very hoppy, some roasted malts. A great ale.

Di colore mogano quasi rossa con una bella schiuma compatta e persistente color cappuccino. Al naso sento gli agrumi. Al palato è aroma di caffè e agrumi. Bell’equilibrio.
