Pours clear dark brown/ruby with no head. Aroma of toffees, ripe fruits, sherry notes... Beautiful. Tastewise smoothly sweet with some notes of wood, dark fruits, raisins, figs, caramel, porto wine, marsala wine. Vinous aftertaste which lingers long. Truly marvelous. Rich vinous mouthfeel and texture, full bodied, oily and smoothly syrupy. World class gem. colui72 (1160) - HONG KONG - DEC 10, 2017
Bedda Madri, Beautiful Mother in Sicilian. Pours translucent brown, minimal head and no lacing. Strong aroma of Marsala wine, strong barley malts and ripe fruits. Tastes sweet, sweet wine-sweet like, strong Marsala taste from the aging, awesome. Ripe fruits in its bill, and booze, winey booze. Full bodied, oily, no carbonation, lingering flavours. Bloody awesome. sarauckelman (550) - Durham, Durham, ENGLAND - SEP 27, 2013

UPDATED: MAR 15, 2014 From bottle at Borefts 2013. Awesome beer. Perfect mix between all the good from wine and beer. By far the best beer I had at Borefts. Sweet dried fruits, vineous notes, tawny port, some alcohol. I must find another bottle.
Update: found another bottle.
Pours no head. Body is hazy amber.
Aroma contains light malts (light bread, cookie, roasted malts, nuts, molasses), light hops (flowers, pine, grapefruit, orange) and grape, raisin, plum, prune, white wine, tawny port, cask wood, honey and alcohol.
Flavor is light acidic and then sweet.
Body is full with syrupy texture. Carbonation is flat.
It looks and feels like a port, it tastes like a beer and also like wine. This is not for everyone but I love it.

37,5cl bottle at home. Nicely looking bottle, dark green with a beautifully decorated label. Pours a deep brownish red colour, no head just some bubbles. Complex aroma and taste with chestnut, sweet red dessert wine, dried fruits like figs, plums and raisins, ginger, roasted carameland sugary malts, vanilla cask, boozy alcoholic warmth, slight astringency. Aftertaste is lingering sweet, boozy and dry. Low carbonation, big body, oily mouthfeel. If there’s one downside it’s the missing malty backbone that would make it more an ale than a wine.
