3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
An orange beer with a fruity nose and palate. Also a nice blend with the caramel and yeasty flavours, Not bad, well balanced and quite drinkable.
The golden colour, the white head, the yeast and caramel with a slight citric tone aromas are those of a belgian strong ale. And tastes like that too: spicy, not too sweet with a nice winery touch. Great equilibrium. Very well done example of the style. dunklermessias (293) - GERMANY - AUG 7, 2017
330 ml bottle. Pours with a hazy golden color and a nice white head. Aromas of toffee and caramel, followed by some fruity notes of orange and citric. Some Belgian yeast as well. Taste is sweet malt, honey, hints of lemon and some spices. Long lasting bitter finish. heavy (2890) - Split, CROATIA - AUG 4, 2017
Dec. ’16. On tap at Open Baladin, Rome. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized, yellow hued head. Pleasant fruity aroma along with some yeast, biscuit and candy. Flavor was sweet, fruity (the same ripe banana and other sweeter tropical), lightly estery, with vanilla sugar and maybe spicy like some citrus peel. No coriander from some reason. Medium bodied, seemed much weaker than it is, not only that alcohol was hidden. Long, sweet finish. Okay, however was a bit too sweet for my taste (and the style anyway) and lacked complexity, so didn’t meet my expectations. sinte (587) - Udine, ITALY - APR 4, 2017
Hazy, golden-to-amber body with an average, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with nice lacing, though.
Moderate hoppy (orange, flowers) and moderate malty (caramel, toffee) aroma with notes of fruits and some spices.
Moderate-to-heavy sweet and light-to-moderate bitter flavour; long-lasting bitterish finish.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation; moderate alcoholic feeling in the finish. MattMex (21) - ITALY - FEB 19, 2017

Bottle from the brewery. Pours lightly hazy gold with a large, frothy white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy biscuit and honey malt with moderate Belgian yeast spices and esters (pears) with light earthy hops. Flavor is heavy biscuit and honey malt, Belgian Candi sugar, spicy hops and light bitterness with pear esters and a dry finish. Full body and moderate carbonation. alex_leit (5025) - Minsk, BELARUS - JAN 27, 2017
Bottle. Cloudy yellow, white foam. Aroma: pear, spicy yeast, fruit, a little dry white sherry, dried fruit. Taste: fruits, pear, apple, slightly sour and citrus, yeast, good balanced. sjogro (4653) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - NOV 30, 2016
Bottle at home. Clear dark golden with white head. Sweet malts, fruity and spiced, some little sour in there, quite alcoholic, bit dusty and plasticcy at first but opens up nicely after a while to more complex notes of green melon, grape most, white raisans, distant grape stones and overripe banana, sherry and pine wood. Big sweet, light bitter, hints of sour. Medium body, soft fizzy carbonation. Quite interesting, triple meets geuze. leghorn99 (254) - roma, ITALY - NOV 21, 2016
Retrogusto secco, finemente amaro. luttonm (6657) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 29, 2016
King Arthur, Rome. Very cloudy yellow-gold, heavy little foam. Sweet tart Belgian yeast, a bit pungent. banana ester, stronger alc and yeast profile. not to my taste. Too much banana.
