750ml bottle from Tanakaya Liquor Store, Tokyo. Cloudy dark reddish brown, big beige foamy head. Hoppy aroma. Barley resin hop flavour. Slightly sickly sweet alcohol aftertaste. A bit too strong for me.

On tap @ Borefts 2013. A beautiful looking everlasting fluffy foam in the middle of the glass here. Really foamy, deigen in color and lacing the glass with some serious blondes. Smells barreled and double IPA-ish. A strong and powerful malt base in this. Loaded with malty caramel sweetness, a little bit of honey and a whole lot of fresh brutal hops. Yeah, it smells really good this, and the taste is not bad either. As suspected a really strong malty backbone. Thick and oily in the mouth with a soft carbonation level. Really syrupy and tasty. I get a little bit of grassy hops in the finish. Lots of flavor. Fruity sweet aftertaste. 28.09.2013

Tap at BKL. I think they have changed the Kegs because mine was really nice. Amber body with white head. Wonderful aroma of pine, citrus and Aroma hops. Taste is malty sweet and fruity. Aftertaste is medium bitter with some sweetness. Liked this very much.

I just had this beer at Braukunst Live 2014 in Munich. I made a list of the potential best beers and was looking forward to it. What a dissapointment! One of the worst beers ever. Papery and musty smell. No problem with palate or appearance- Oxidixed bitter taste. I had great beers before on the same day and also after. I am sure it is a good beer based on the reviews, but this keg tasted like a 12 month old imperial IPA.

Very good beer that has a huge aroma of citrus, pine, resin, nice medium body. Slightly creamy actually. Big foamy tiny bubled head with brussels lacing. Very bitter and astringent yet still some sweetness and caramel in the aroma. Very good beer.

Gedronken op Borefts13. Oranje/bruine kleur, niet helder en een beige schuimkraag. Ruikt en smaakt hoppig, fruitig, goed in balans, bitter, beetje tropisch fruit.
