UPDATED: JAN 10, 2018 Pretty good stout, dark, the taste isn’t much strong but overall it’s a good stout.

Very black body but minimal head. Soft swampy stout on the nose, some cabbage, some axel grease. Flavour is big and strong barley with motor oil, bitumen, tar, and licorice. Nice and oily on the mouth, big flavour and a punch to the stomach. In other words, a pretty good porter.

Great tasting stout but became incredibly sick after drinking it. Perhaps it’s just the bottle I got - threw up all night from it.

My Bottom Line:
This velvety Sweet Stout develops plenty of malt flavors (chocolate, molasses, toast) in the smoothest of mouthfeels while kelp and leafy hops mesh.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam tops the brown-edged black.
-This is no novelty beer. It’s an excellent Stout that happens to have a touch of kelp in it.
-Drinkability is very high if you are a Stout lover.
-This might be sweeter than the average, but it works wonderfully.

Black body with a mostly flat head. Salt air and roasty notes intermingle delightfully in the bouquet. Full-bodied, roasty character, grainy, and thick, with the taste of salt air and, perhaps kelp, lingering pleasantly on the palate.

650ml bottle bought up in Whistler BC, drunk on a balcony overlooking the quant little village of Pemberton BC after a gorgeous day of skiing, let me assure you I am not biased in anyway on this beer. WOWOW this one is amazing, Some chocolate in the nose which warms into some roasted malt or grain with a slight salty taste as of sea air. Wow this one is great

650 ml bottle poured at home. Pours dark brown with no head. Smells was hard to place but I thought roasted malt and dark red fruit like cherries. Tastes like coffee and a bit salty. I really liked this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate aroma. Roasted malty caramel and weak chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish with weak smoky hints.

Not as gimmicky as it sounds. Umami and salt air without getting briny. Smooth and roasty.

Pours pretty thick and with dark brown head, smells sweet. Taste is fairly sweet, low carbonation, malty, no seaweed flavour really but a bit of herbalness at the end I guess? Fairly run of the mill.
