This cheeky full bodied winter warmer perfectly balances hints of dried fruit, caramel, and oaky vanilla like Santa’s elves skillfully balance the unrealistic demands put upon them this time of year. We aged this English Old Ale in Kentucky rye barrels to give it a smooth, warm finish.
2018-01-07. Brown body, nice creamy beige head. 4+ Aroma is alcoholic rye, sweetish caramel malt. 7+ Flavour is lightly bitter throughout, lingering alcohol in the finish. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Lovely highlights but a bit rough overall. 7/4/6-7/3/14
