Bottle, RBESG 07.
Lovely ruby ale, lots of oaky flavour. Smoke aroma, dry finish. lgklotet (432) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - AUG 22, 2007
Draught at GFW68. Oh yes! This is the stuff. Not only insanely hopped, but with a complexity of flavours that continue to amaze. Will search out again! The rest of Swedish microbrewers will have to watch out - Ölands is proving themselves with every brew! omhper (25128) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 21, 2007
Bottled at Tegnérs Gömställe, Stockholm. Hazy deep ruby with small beige head. Intense aroma of lychee and black cherries. Fruity and medium sweet with solid cready malt balancing a massive asault of American hops. Drying somewhat ashy finish with immense bitterness. At this size the hop rates usedy the brewer starts to feel only a tad over the top. Still it feels playful and fun to drink. Hats off to one of the most entertaining brewers out there! courtesy of Per Forsgren/Samuelsson - cloudy copper-brown colour with a little irregular foam; hoppy and malty with nutty notes; a solid malt body with a robust bitterness; very long herbal and nutty finish - balanced and with lot of character; another very good beer from Ölands and the first with a decent alcohol content :-) Gusgus (237) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 29, 2008
Draught @ the brewery. Dark amber with creamy head. A hint of phenols hits the nose at first, but dissipates and turn into a very nice herbal hoppiness with powerful notes of belgian strong ale from the use of 400 EBC Crystal. This leaves a note of burnt raisins and prunes. Clean palate with nice spicy hops over some bready malt. Very balanced and nice.

Bottled@SBWF2008. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is caramel, fruity hops and some rather sweet maltyness. Flavour is bigtime hops and some really leathery notes. Mildly spicy notes too. Ends in a sweet fruity hoppyness. Very pleasant. ekstedt (6780) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 7, 2007
Draught at the Rover, Göteborg, Sweden. Clear reddish brown, medium beige head. Fruity and roasted malt aroma, a bit smokey, with piney fruity hops. Medium bodied and smooth. Nicely balanced with a small overweight to the bitter side. Long and bitter finish. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 18, 2007
Beautiful, dark, red amber with a nicely hoppy, fruity and citrussy aroma. The mouthfeel is oily and the flavour has a lot of fruity hops, citrus, some resin and a very nice roasted caramel and a nice bitterness. A really nice one. The Rover, Göteborg. 2385

(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No 68, Stockholm) Dark brown colour with rocky beige head. Malty nose with fruity notes of hops, chocolate, roasted nuts, loads of citrussy hops and a slight hint of smoke. Malty, hoppy taste with hints of yeast, chocolate and coffee, leading to a finish dominated by generous amounts of citrussy hops, grapefruit, pine needles, tobacco and black, bitter coffee. Body above medium, mainly dry. I’m not sure I would call this an IPA, it’s got the hops of an IPA but the colour and malt of ... eh, something else. However, astonishing beer, probably the best so far from this brewery. Keep ’em coming. larsniclas (7075) - Billdal, SWEDEN - JUL 10, 2007
Draught at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden.
