Bottle from real ale Newark. Deep reddish gold colour. With a white head. Taste is fruity citrus. With a mid bitter finish. dchad56 (500) - - JAN 17, 2016
Bottle - light to medium amber, large frothy head with high carbonation. Soft banana bubble gum and slight citrus aroma. Good mouthfeel - taste similar to aroma but a bit more citrus - not particularly lasting. Ok beer. Fin (10541) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2015
Bottle from Jacks (Westholme Stores) Goring on Thames, Oxon, consumed at home Sunday 17th May 2015 Pours amber with a filmy white head, pleasant fresh nose, guess what, it smells beery as opposed to anything particularly fancy hoppy. Rather drab in mouth, very little going on, desperately disappointed with this. Poured it away, how can I go from Orval to this? Gravity, Hinckley BF, 13/09/13. Headless bronze with low condition.
Egg nose. Bitter soap and floral flavour with back-of-tongue paracetemol and off nut linger. Inauspicious festival opener.

On gravity, at Barrow Hill Beer Festival - Clear pale golden with a white head. Fruity hops and malt in the aroma. Flavour is rather dry and citric hoppy with a hint of malt and wooden notes. Dry, hoppy finish. Rather good.
