A clear, deep red ale with a thick, frothy head. Aroma is very mild and of fruit and malt. The flavour is similar with a citrus edge and it’s quite bitter on the tongue. It’s subtle but distinctive and very drinkable.

28th March 2015 at home. 500ml bottle (BB 20th Dec 2015) into a UK pint sleeve and shared with no one. Lovely clear red body, on top a white foaming head. Malts rule the nose and taste, semi-sweet and red berry fruity flavours lead your senses through the brew which ends in a mild bitter dryness. Years ago I visited a beer festival in the Cotswold’s and the best beer I had all day was this beer (in a pub after the festival): glad I have had the chance to try it again since I joined the internet world and it’s beer sites.
