Draft at Turner Field. Pours a clear copperish-amber color with a foamy, off-white head. Left some thick lacing behind on the plastic cup it was served in. The aroma is pretty non-descript, showing mostly lightly toasted caramel malts and faint floral hops. Flavors were mostly the same, with perhaps a touch of spiciness from the hops coming through. Thin bodied with a surprisingly smooth, almost nitrogenated mouthfeel. Definitely the best option at the ball park, and better than most AB products, but still pretty boring overall. shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - APR 20, 2008
Pours a clear amber color with a white head. Aroma is malty, a hint of roast, some crystal malt, and some spicy hops. Flavor is malty, roast, crystal malt, and a bitter peppery finish. PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2007
Atlanta, Ga. - on tap at Turner Field. Medium copper pour, off white head. Neutral aroma - a hint of fresh lake water perhaps. Some caramel, some nuttiness. Smooth drinking. Slightly thinnish mouthfeel. However, overall not bad - not worth the $6.50 a cup though - but they have a captive audience and I needed a rating! can8ianben (1545) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 20, 2007
On tap only at Turner Field in Atlanta. Its a pretty standard amber ale, just a touch of hops and a subtle malty flavour. It’s much better than the macros they have on tap there, and kind of interesting that there is a beer brewed exclusively for a ballpark.
